If you like long fantasy series my favorites are The Wheel of Time (gets slow in books 7 & 8 but worth it), Malazan Book of the Fallen, and Stormlight Archives if you're okay with the series not being finished yet. If you want to go with a horror book I absolutely loved House of Leaves, but go for a physical copy if you do try it. It's a weird experience so try to go in blind
