I am pretty sure that this fund exists kinda as ''look, we give you money, but please spend it on divisions inside of the EWC circuit (e.g Fifa, cs, dota, lol, val, r6s, cod, tft, chess) so that we can try making ewc a bigger event''. So there is a chance navi buys a cod team, sen or loud buy a cs team, gentle mates open a cs division, c9 enter cod, etc. Why would they do that? cuz there is this thing called EWC club championship where the most successful org across all divisions wins like 7 million dollars. Last year it was falcons cuz they basically had the most divisions and secured like two top 1s, 3 top 2s, 4 top 3s

it's not valorant exclusive, ewc spans across like 15 games. It had pubg, pubg mobile, lol, tft, cs, dota, cod, ea fc, free fire, wild rift I think, basically almost all main stream games
