To me, T1 vs G2 was the best Grand finals in VCT history. Every map except the first one was close. Banger halves by the teams.
I know Fnc vs Loud is widely considered the best but I honestly think there were at least 5 moments when I thought the games done across multiple maps.

Yeah i think fnc vs loud is kinda overrated by vlr, the series was lowkey carried by that map 5.

Yep, I agree that the last map was a generational comeback which might just be the only time we see such a comeback at a grand final.
But the first 4 maps were meh.
Here, the first map was meh but every other map was a banger.

tbh ur right imagine being the dark horse of the event, going on a lower bracket run beating every single #1 seed and then in the finals every single member plays to their best against a superior opponent, this is the greatest final in vct history

first map was shite, second map was meh, last 3 maps were good but there was more throwing than good gameplay it seemed. Still a good GF but it could have been much better

Ikr. I mean T1 was considered THE 8th team with everyone being higher on Trace than T1 (and I don't think that was wrong given how T1 were playing in regionals, they'd be grouped)
It's crazy to see they pulled a TL and actually kept getting better every match but unlike TL who lost 2-3 in the GF, this time T1 won 3-2

Which is still way more thrilling than any other GF except maybe Sen vs FNC where every map was a 11-13 or went OT (still not as thrilling given the quality of play back then was more aim reliant and not so much on the util)

tbh the turning point which everyone didnt consider was that sylvan was a better fit for the system than carpe. Rightfully so when he returned did things start turning around. Also one thing I notice is that whatever team meteor is on they start clicking when he starts clicking. He might unironically be the new goat

You're into something, Meteor might be the 'Faker' of Valorant, coming from the same team, T1

Far fetched but currently APAC has only 2 trophies and Meteor has been a part of both rosters.

As for Sylvan, damn he is a LANimal. That 1v5 will stay rent free with me, and carpe is real good but I was not prepared for how good Sylvan would actually be, insane stepping up.
