Thinking of buying wooting 60he+ for valorant and productivity stuff. Is it worth it?
For Val: 100% best option but the price is super high, ik there a cheaper alternatives which at 90% as good for half the cost, but it’s the best option possible when price isn’t a factor
For productivity; no. A 60he doesn’t have a num pad, f1 f 2 f3… keys, the ~ key, or other important ones. Plus, this is just imo, its a soft keyboard if that makes sense (not much resistance on keys) which imo isn’t as good for productivity, but that is 100% personal preference

I heard you can program other buttons to work as arrow keys if needed? Im a developer.

U don’t really have many keys to work with tbh that you can sacrifice for arrow keys, but yes you can swap keys using the wooting software it’s really easy. If ur a dev tho, I’d recommend getting another keyboard or getting the wooting 80he which does have arrow keys
Toph_ [#4]wooting no. Hall effect keyboards, yes. Many arguably better alternatives. Though, wooting has the best software.
Wait which ones are better? Last time I checked no one else could hold a candle to wooting
I've owned both Wooting 60HE and EZ63. HE keyboards absolutely slam everything else for valorant/cs. Wooting vs EZ63 is super subjective tho. I personally liked the 60HE more but both are great boards. Wootility is flawless and web-based as well. Meaning it will not bloat ur system like G Hub. Get either gang, both are solid options.

then you're clearly not looking correctly - hm80 literally better in everyway and cheaper lmao
Chi-ari [#19]i have it and i love it, it's very good on games that need precise movements
Is it worth it? I currently have razer huntsman mini and nuphy air75 v2.

if u havent used rapid trigger then only
Splaram [#29]I'm not seeing much comparisons between the two online, how is the hm80 better?
lower deadzone and lower actuation
ArterieX [#21]Get any keyboard with rapid trigger or hall effects wooting is just hyped bcoz of pro players
Is the HE on wooting for hall effects? Is it bad for other stuff other than valorant?
Bhrubby [#31]Is the HE on wooting for hall effects? Is it bad for other stuff other than valorant?
Ye HE = hall effect
And nah not bad for typing, just... mediocre.
During typing the big HE advantages (Rapid trigger and Snap) arent relevant.
So its just a plain linear switch (unremarkable for the price, but nothing bad either).
If you like linear switches then theres a very good chance youll enjoy them.
If you like clicky/tactile switches youre unfortunately out of luck.
So it comes down to preference. Id always recommend looking if one of your local tech stores has keyboards on display that you can test first, but if youve had linear switches before then its basically the same, just even more linear.
