glad to see inspire do well in T2, but i dont get why tdawgg is yapping in this twitter post about ppl who rightfully criticised him for holding out for a tier 1 offer when he wasnt good enough.

ppls criticism of inspire was that he refused to grind t2 because he thought he was too good for it. Now he is doing well by, guess what? grinding t2 like everyone said he should.

there was no criticism of BabyJ at the time that wasnt warranted (except maybe the rebrand) and now that he took everyones advice and is doing well, suddenly everyone was wrong about him? even tho he is doing what the wider community said he should do and is grinding t2?

its more of how the entire community (including pros and streamer) ridiculed him for years ever since the 13-0 loss and after doing well in t2 people are switching up in how they are treating him. the hate that babyj got (and the attitude rumors) were so unwarranted and prob resulted in him losing offers.

If an executive is making decisions based on what fans are saying about a player then that executive is braindead

Babyj didnt get signed because he simply wasn't good enough, not because of fan hate lmao

he was def good enough and if they never lost 13-0 he wouldve still been on 100 thives for at least a year (he was signed for 2 weeks and dropped cuz of nadeshot pinning the blame on their 2 new signings). the whole narrative of him not being good enough is why tdawgg made that tweet. people ridiculed him after 100t and is one of the major reasons why the whole community thought he wasnt good.

another factor was also how the rumors of him having a bad attitude/toxic (which i would argue was the biggest reason why he never got signed) and that continued for a long time.

You can see similar situations with Sinatraa losing almost everything the moment he was accused of something. I won't share my personal opinion on the matter, but it does highlight the two-faced nature of the industry, everyone was praising him like the next messiah before he got accused.

It seems that Sentinels made an effort to support him, in the same way they consistently supported players like Sick and Dapr, trying to help them when they needed it instead of abandoning them.

Another person making an effort to change this is Sliggy, who approaches his chat with the attitude that people don't have to be nasty or mean to others.

The issue is that these individuals and brands represent a minority, not the majority.

I agree but it is what it is. its so easy to sit behind a screen and not think about what you say resulting in hurting someone. Im glad that its changing bit by bit tho.

sinatraa was banned for alleged abusing someone bro, not the same as just being shit and toxic

I would say just toxic not shit. BabyJ performed like the second best on 100T in the two games he did play and has played very very well in Tier 2.

and for not cooperating with an investigation, but even still being accused of being an asshole vs being accused of being an abuser and rapist are two very different thing and u have to be a next level braindead dickrider to think otherwise
