Disagree with that, long term doesn't care of you level at X-point, level can change fast, having affinity with your player is gamechanger and is something that is less fluctuant. If you loose ? Understand why, and work on it, firing someone is just scapegoat culture, by doing that next time you loose, everyone will try to blame each other to not be the one that will be fire, instead of recognizing their mistakes
Pakatron [#2]you right (thai + k-pop stan + prx fans is fucking nightmare)
finally someone has similar IQ get this situation. thier obsession with players is not on sports side they keep glazing like idols not sport players that's why org think they can't get rid of bad player. they scared to lost thier fanbase to much.
Fendy1 [#5]separate the fans and the team ffs
Obviously this org drive by emotion of fans not true logic that's why I think this is going to be a problem.

Your talk like you don't know team esports fundamental. There are so many problem that's hard to fix when your players skill can't reach expectation of startegy. That's why they have to change player to fit what they need.

fair that's why I still don't think we change rosters, I think prx swap some shit heavy

sometimes it's not just roster changes that affects the team, but the internal things about the org that the normal VCT watchers don't know about

If it's just strategy issue then I don't see why it would be solve by more work ?

I don’t want to waste time explaining everything, but here’s an easy example:
If your team needs an IGL level 100 to make the plan work well, and 5 of your players don’t have that level of skill, or it will take many years to learn, you can simply get rid of the low-value players and buy high-level players in the roles you need. When you can just buy good player and level up your team instantly, if you don’t do it, it seems like a weird decision, doesn’t it? In fast-paced competitive esports like Valorant, you always have to make tough decisions for a better team. You need to build logically, not emotionally.
This is how every high-level sports team works. If you know Paper Rex, you’ll realize they’re relatively inexperienced as a sports team compared to others like Gen.G or EDG, who’ve done this in many other games. This is the way to become a better sports team—not just selling your players as idols, but focusing on players who perform well to win the trophy.

You speak as if PRX player where low value player with a lot of player that is twice better than them on the market.
Pakatron [#2]you right (thai + k-pop stan + prx fans is fucking nightmare)
funny thing is JP/KR fans aren't even doing it to that extreme.
Poh1238 [#7]real just like zeta those branding will led you to a lose
Once you know that no matter how bad you perform, you will still have a job, you start not caring about your work.
PRX players know that no matter what they do, they will still be on the roster. It doesn't take that much brainpower to figure out why all of their performances are deteriorating.
Poh1238 [#7]real just like zeta those branding will led you to a lose
thankfully the fans/org now seem to be going with a different approach with the new roster. just need johnta to land in korea
Anguibok [#14]You speak as if PRX player where low value player with a lot of player that is twice better than them on the market.
for another example. PRX don't have true IGL. Don't have modern duelist for thier comp. do you think put jinggg on killjoy and cypher will better than get the actual sentinel player that can hard fragging with true IGL skill? don't tell me they are not capable to scout player. If you use that for excuse you just made PRX look worst.
bubblecattxx [#18]Disagree, T1's LoL team is marketed like kpop idols and yet they won back to back world titles. PRX just has to put in more effort into the game and start playing like an actual team instead of just WGAMING
probably because T1 do make roster changes when needed. Guma got dropped for Smash (academy player) and fans accept that decision. some prx fans lowkey would unleash a world war if someone got dropped.
Biostar [#19]The LCK is still the strongest in the world, even though 85% of the spectators and fan clubs are female and fans are always mad every day.
lowkey i feel like most LCK fans accept roster changes over time and only a few crazy stans actually go crazy so its slightly different to what we are seeing with PRX fans on twitter

Put more effort into how to build a competent roster first. If you want to compare PRX to T1, just look at their history. They don’t make changes based on what fans want. they change to win the trophy. That’s why they succeed.

Very different LCK team do not listen to their fans about how to change the roster. They aim to win and when they win fans love that. This is the way. as always.
You're absolutely right it's such a difficult decision for prx to make. Any roster changes with the current iteration will cause discourse. They've been together for so long it's hard to choose between rebuilding and losing the fan base that's crucial for the sustainability of the org or to take another gamble. I also believe these guys are still stuck in that W gaming mindset that made them famous. It's like beating a dead horse they ehaven't' adapted it to fit the current meta.

This is the sign of emergency. Pacific keep developing so fast PRX can't use same trick anymore. If they keep losing like this for the next 2-3 year. their magic will fade away by the time. sport is sport you need to show the sign to the fans that when you going down you try everything to get back on track to win again. even it's doesn't work but you need to show the sign that you're trying or fans that cause every org decision will end up leave you behind.

definitely. esp when T1 just dropped Guma for Smash, GENG dropping peyz and getting ruler back, etc. much more healthy scene.
Pakatron [#2]you right (thai + k-pop stan + prx fans is fucking nightmare)
been saying, idol culture just doesnt make sense (IMO in general) in epsorts

I think PRX actually has a culture problem, people liking each other doesn't mean that they are fully devoted to the game and focused. it can mean that but here its not the case

Their player are already kinda top player, even if you scout i'm not fully sure you can find better individually. But you are right on one point, they need an IGL
