Say hypothetical scenario he had potter and every player from old EG around him would he become good again? imo he would be average at best
Tempest24 [#2]Good but probably not great
Idt he needs his old team back he just needs to remember how to shoot
Azzelastia [#4]That EG was the best team of all time. If they were still together, they would have won every title for two years straight.
Nuh uh
rumbledink [#3]Idt he needs his old team back he just needs to remember how to shoot
its not about shooting, its about the fact that individually Demon1 was never special. He had the perfect system around him to where he didnt have to think about anything and im not trying to take a dig at him but watch any interview from the guy and you can tell hes the brain off follow the calls kinda player.
He isnt particularly smart, hes not creative, nor is he flexible (probably because of his lack of creativity), hes just an aimer that was on a system made SPECIFICALLY for him.
If anything the only way for him to get back to his old form is to have either the players or the system around him to support his kind of baity play style

nothing comes close to loud 22 and fnc 23 bro fuck u on about

thats some extravagant glaze right there. If were talking about best teams for their time (as in how far ahead they were) id easily give it to 2022 Loud at Champs. They were by far the most dominant team with actual competitive opponents around them in the hardest champs to date (id say harder than last years since a few big teams bombed out early which made it the avg champs).
alpine007 [#5]i think he can recover back to his prime tbh, he just needs a jawgemo and an ethan or com in his team for the util and support.
c0m never made him what he was, nor was ethan. It was specifically boostio jawg and potter. Those 3 helped to create a perfect system for the guy to completely turn off his brain and just frag

i mean i wasnt that much of an EG fan so im not really sure so im gonna take you word for it. jewgemo and potter were deffo the main reasons he could perform though

FNC 23 werent that good (this is coming from a day 1 FNC supporter)
Their competition was just so fucked cause everyone going into franchising was in complete shambles, the only competition they ever had was Loud and the only potential teams that could challenge them either had already fell off by the time they faced FNC or never faced them in teh first place.
DRX, Loud, Navi, NRG were all pretty ass in Tokyo, Lock In was a cesspool of mid teams and the only challenging match for FNC was Loud (and even then it was arguably because Boasters calling took a nosedive mid series). EG got 3-0ed being the only team to take a Fracture off FNC but still not able to challenge them on any other map, even the 2 split games for 11-13s didnt feel like FNC was in any position to lose it at any point in the games.
By the time Champs came around and teams were back in form, FNC was severely underprepared because their prior competition had poor anti strats, never managed to push FNC to any meaningful extent, and atp FNC were fumbling every round since they had nothing more than their playbook and fundamentals. Their calling wasnt anything special, their midrounding was at a lot of points HORRIBLE, the fragging was fucked because the trades werent there since they played the whole year as a default solo kind of team.
highlyte [#8]he still has a chance to prove himself.
But if he continues to play like today, his fall will be worse than yay's fall
Yay's fall was brought to him because of c9 and then what happened at dsg but demon1 still has a great chance to prove himself

agreed i feel demon1 is like yay lite but yay was playing well in c9 and so far he is looking good in eg . imo he needs to play smokes or sentinel full time . He then doesn't need to think about entrying and can use his aim in the best way .

lmfao yay's downfall is more understandable considering he was on a team with literal bots
demon1 is playing with a core that legit made top 3 champs last year hahahahha his bot ass is not coming back
