Title. I just hate Ascent because the matches on this map are so boring. There is barely any variation, and almost every team reads it. It's almost like a coinflip, as it's never banned out, being the fifth map or the decider map and playing it like standard Valorant. It's like, let's see if they repeat the same scenario over and over again. Hell, even bind and split feel more exciting since teams tend to run different comps/strategies for that map to hit.

I just miss watching Pearl with Op B long. Seeing op duels is cool. It's not like Breeze, where both sites feel way too open. There's an option to go for a smaller chokepoint site.

they don't experiment. If you check your match history, all they do is play the same comp over and over again. They are the definition of textbook valorant and had perfect it. Look at the texture; only raze and Jett since the entire Pacific stage 2. No iso, no neon, nothing. But if it's working, there's no need to fix it.

But I'm not going to lie; it feels pretty boring to watch them. There is no Yoru, Sage, Chamber, Sage, Harbor, Phx, or Astra. It's always the standard viper+killjoy/cypher+omen+skye/kayo with Jett or Raze.

The only core changes are Brim on Bind, Fade on Lotus, Gekko on Icebox, and Sova on Ascent.

Will there ever be a function to add the ability to set upcoming matches view to only a certain region? I'm glad that the website includes a challenger scene, as it should be, but it would be nice to have an option to opt out of it. (Like an option to have a major region in the upcoming match on the front page.)

If stage 1 stat carries over, why does clicking stage 2 show teams like sen 1-0 instead of 4-3? It feel like it would be better to maybe add another tab for it or something?

It doesn't really seem that bad of a roster when you consider most of them are experienced, and probably a lot cheaper than the current roster they have with the superteam.
