what role, flex? if anything playing flex would allow them to choose the agents based on their play style, regardless of role. playing flashes is such a common igl role because it allows you to be directly in the exec, and able to easily pivot and redirect comms when stuff doesnt work

i'm confused too. he did drop a stinker on breach, though they still secured that map. the next map he was on sentinel, and the next he was on the usual gekko.

It's surprising to me that we have so few IGLs on that perma recon role that's just Sova/Fade on most maps.
It's hard to learn at first, but it's a role that deviates very little from the set plays at round start. I imagine it'd be a lot easier to see big-picture and have time to think while on that role.
Now that I think about it, interesting that EDG found vastly more success after putting their recon player on IGL...

Only worked because nobody could igl I just think forcing people to swap roles because 'they can igl better on it' is a great idea it works for players that already played the role before but boostio hasn't at all beforehand
