Hello all, while I recognize that an Italian flagger being interested in Chinese Valorant is an already occupied archetype, I would nonetheless like to discuss it, as it is my favorite region. Does anyone have any fascinating takes that they would like to share?

geospliced [#3]jkuro is going to join DRG and flex1n will leave for another club. This will result in DRG making Champs and they'll go on a deep run where SpiritZ1 is solidified as one of the best players to ever touch the game.
Actually, Viva is the best player to ever touch the game, but I respect your take. Additionally, Flex1n will definitely leave to find greener pastures, although I don't know which VCT CN team is greener than Dragon Ranger Gaming.

Who should they drop? I'd argue drop babyblue and MrCANI as they are both mediocre at best. Z1yan and jkuro both very solid, and stew (while not as good as he was on RA, and prob not even a top 5 duelist in CN at this point) is still very good.

While it has not been shown on a competitive stage as of yet, Rushia has looked quite good in the offseason. And my brother and I's BLG punching bag, Levius, has looked rejuvenated. I'm excited for BLG, and FPX is sure to look good, although I'm doubtful that Yosemite is too massive of an upgrade on Lysoar, who is quite good. Have a nice day!

Baby blue ain’t that bad on sova, hence why I think they should ban bind, and stick to maps where you can play Sova. I imagine if he can play sova he can play fade, so lotus is probably a good pick for them to not ban.
Also hot take, but jkuro should go to perma smokes, and have z1yan play yoru on abyss. It fits his play style more than astra.
peetherium [#27]Biased take but I believe in AG to make stage 2 playoffs assuming nothing goes horribly wrong. All their players are solid and the streets are saying Fire3's a good talent developer, so I have faith in them not being bottom barrel this season.

I don't expect them to be bottom feeders, but rather, mid-table. They aren't better than BLG, WOL, EDG, XLG, TE, FPX really as far as I'm concerned. Not trying to throw shade, just wondering.

Yea they should be ranked 5th-7th and should try to fight for a spot for Champs. I think ppl just assume that other audience think they're a bottom feeder team and the team has shooters so they keep hyping NOVA up

Viva is the GOAT. He broke out in late 2023 with the RA roster during the Chinese Evolution Series offseason tournament. Throughout this period, he mainly played agents like Viper and Sova, while also playing second duelist for the team on Jett on certain maps when stew played Phoenix or Raze. After the team capitulated in the Ascension finals, he was picked up alongside the core of the roster by Jing Dong Mall JDG Esports, where he mainly played Viper, but also once again played initiator roles like Sova and occasionally agents like Gekko and Skye. He also IGL'd the team for a period of time. Recently, he was picked up by XLG in the offseason, where he's started with a bang in the team's first competitive match against fans' favorite Wolves Esports Clip.

i mean quality of play in china is bound to get better but i still think they will dominate for years to come just this year they lose domestically for once but probably just win internationally anyways
