-> 7-8th place team in pacific tier 2
-> ascension finalists that had their entire team ripped apart and is now just a new team that isn't similar at all to the team that was actually good at ascension
-> one of the worst tier 1 teams in the Pacific League, only in Tier 1 because of Bleed (still lost to them)
-> one of the worst Tier 1 teams in the China League, unless they had some insane pickups that I haven't heard anyone talking about they don't look good at all
-> mystery team (team secret maybe, as they aren't playing in any offseasons rn)

Well you can't blame them much when most of the good teams are already playing in the china event , although they shouldn't have advertised it like that

Cannot blame them this week was most stacked vct offseason most of the good teams had plans already planned.
As for their performance - they are playing showmatches with 0 money or trophy on line this is best time for them to experience with the comps and new patch is there anyway.

It was supposed to but then everyone left for Radiant or Redbull
But regardless it's not like anyone paid to watch anything

"it was supposed to" the schedule of RBHG and Radiant were out weeks before. Saying that it don't matter cos no one paid to watch anyway is irresponsible. Then just don't market it that way? no way you are defending GE for falsely advertising the matches as "Best teams in asia". i have no problem with the event since I'm not really watching them but marketing it this way is pretty cheap.

Just admit it, its false advertisement and they were wrong for that (companies get sued irl). Low expectation? "Low" is an overstatement, no one cares.

They could have just said various teams from CN, PAC coming to face off GE or something, idk its their marketing.

It's a video game tournament with zero prize pool, zero entry fees
In other words, glorified scrims to take place in space of Convergence
I hate GE but being this pressed about show matches is lowkey crazy but what do I expect lmao.

They literally advertised as 2 VCT cn teams ,2VCT pacific teams and 2 Ascension teams
so VCT cn -All gamers and dont know who or OG filled in for team that cancelled
VCT Pacific - boom and could be 1 more last 2 days
ascension teams - OG , NAOS,and heard dsg was supposed to be today but they had to play split could be on last day

AS for the advertising thing thing are they supposed to day "bottom of the pack apac teams" when the teams are coming to their showmatch with no money on line just as a good gesture

one of the worst tier one team? boom not even play tier 1 games yet, the only tier one we facing is optic with flipzjder igl, berserx duelist and famouz chamber and yet we still take a map on them..

taking maps means nothing in valorant unless you win the series imo

any team can take a map if they have a cooked strat thats good enough and set up well enough (EG vs LOUD in kickoff, DFM's ascent at the start of the year), the point of valorant is that there are Bo3s to test how good a team really is, not how good their gimmick comp/strat is

but also it's been 2 years, the players aren't the same players

TS refused to play against GE in FaceOff but is ready to play against BOOM. 😅😂 This clearly shows that performance matter .GE seems to be one of the most disliked teams in the franchise receiving zero invitations to any offseason events and no T1 team seems interested in playing with them.
