Why are there so many so many korean players playing in japanese teams with japanese players ? Just curious .Won't there be language barriers between the players????

I think most will learn English in school as a second language, to varying results. However, the two languages are very similar and have a bunch of similar words. It’s quite a bit easier to pick up one of the languages if you speak the other.

Japanese is also a little bit easier to speak imo

Why go to T2 when you can be in T1 on DFM. He wouldn’t be able to go to T1 or GenG. Maybe DRX but they’d probably take stew over him.

Japan pays more than korea, unless you're t1 drx or geng , and I will argue that playing in japan will do much better for meiy

Japan pays very very well in tier 2 so players that are good enough to compete talk with japanese orgs to see if they can get paid well by an org that will actually support them

They just learn. Look at the league. There are Korean players everywhere in the world - Europe, China, NA, even Brazil - and they learn the language no matter what. Koreans have little advantage in learning Japanese because the languages are similar, but that's irrelevant.

In Korea, It's quite a big business. there are agents who only work for export players and English teachers who only teach professional gamers.
