hot take: monyet should have stayed at prx

dont get me wrong, im a firm defender of my goat jj, but if you go back and watch their voice comms or remember their past streams, the vibes were undeniably better with monyet. The team seemed more adaptable with monyet too. Not to mention monyet has a wider agent pool AND CAN PLAY NEON, RAZE IS DEAD IN 2024/2025. They can play double smoke and double initiator if monyet was still on the team.while i do have to agree that jinggg's aim is slightly better than monyet but honestly, i cant recall a crazy aim jinggg moment other than his ace, but cmon thats against fucking dfm, botssi could have done that too. monyet seems to have a better knowledge of the game, better vibes, wider agent pool. PRX WHY DID YOU LET HIM GO

there wasnt a single (or has there been one or two?) series where monyet has gone positive..............
if u were the guy making decisions u would let Jinggg who got second at champs to come back to play too
also a bit crazy to assume monyet has better knowledge of the game than jinggg and their vibes were better just because of a voice comm video lol

still have that complaints ingrained in my brain. you guys prefer a better looking player rather than a flex, up and coming not-so-good looking player.

Certainly a hot take. While it seems sad that monyet left when he just started to show some life in the team, I don't think he meshed well with PRX gameplay wise. Paper Rex is a team with problems and I don't think Monyet is the right player/person to really help lead them out because he is still a young player that got international attention in a struggling middle of the pack team in GE. Def a couple of years of tier 1 is needed until he can join a team like that and hopefully succeed.

it's tough to say really, while monyet had decent stats and had a far better agent pool, it was clear that he was struggling on prx and you cant judge the vibes of a team based off voice com videos. On top of this, Jingg is the player most people associate with prx (maybe forsaken but thats besides the point), and so to have him back is not only a no brainer from past team chem and proven results, but also from a branding point of view because jingg has the biggest streams of all the prx members, and the most fans. I think however that monyet would have been a good sub for the team as his agent pool was good, and i think that the timing of jingg coming back was really unfortunate for him because he seemed to be getting used to the team environment and playstyle right before jingg came back. i understand not keeping him tho cause subs almost never play and he is too good to be kept on the bench.

this shouldn't be a hot take tbh, there are 25 agents in the game and monyet can probably play 23 (maybe 24) of them at a higher level than jinggg. having players as flexible as forsaken and d4v41 feels like a waste if they're constantly having to play around a raze 1 trick and a guy who's second best agent is fkn reyna. Idk how good monyet would be on jett but switching to someone who can play jett, raze and neon feels like it would provide some much-needed consistency for the other 3. maybe jinggg and something are just absolute vibe gods outside of the game though.

for prx's case, having a 6 man roster would not likely work, because of them only having an esports team in Val
