- NRG (you gonna get spammed with kekes and 12-5s, cove, and no IGL)
- PRX (keke j0nggj0ngg never gonna leave past that, also the no trophies jokes too)
- SEN (nobody gonna listen to you can't lie)
yeah true, I agree. but in general I think the more any team wins (and then falls off) the worse it gets
it's a cycle of this for any team imo:
team wins --> bandwagoners talk shit --> people clown on the bandwagoners --> bandwagoners talk even more shit --> repeat until the team falls off --> people continue to clown on bandwagoners who've moved on --> the remaining fans get the shit and they become even more annoying
(bonus points if the team is from NA or EU)
tl;dr shit talk leads to more shit talk
which is why I try and never engage with it in the first place
well explained, and the reason why i think NA/EU is moreso like this is because of the normalization of the trashtalking and "free speech" culture.
on the other end of the spectrum, from my experience east asian teams tend to have a silent rule to exhibit politeness because of their cultural upbringing
both sides of the coin bring value to the esports scene in terms of sportsmanship/competition and pulls a diverse fanbase
my take is that divisions between regions and teams are the backbone of esports culture and rivalries
