aspas narrative must stop

Seen a bunch of comments on LEV having him in contract jail BS, and no that's not the case. Obviously, LEV aren't going to let him leave for cheap to an APAC team after they paid him a gazillion dollars. He had the option to play for LEV or go to another region willing to pay for his buyout, it ain't the org's fault he wants them to let him go for cheap to an APAC to live out his Asian fantasy.

eSports is not profitable enough to let one of the best players out there go for cheap when there are T2 mfs with 100k+ buyouts. SEN literally paid for TenZ around 4X what LEV is asking for aspas and no one bitched about it. It's not that deep, it's just how basic decent management works🤦‍♂️

mfs get angry at LEV for not taking a big monetary loss by letting aspas go for cheap, but then they go shit on LOUD's management for mishandling their finances, make it make sense.

Tenz reported buyout was 1.25 mil(might be 1 mil or somewhere between 1-1.25) which is 5x the reported buyout for aspas 250k

Yes go get your temporary money with a shit team around you that won't get you anywhere but just hurt your legacy even more and decrease your value as a player

Why are you assuming they will do bad on a shit team? Don't you think they will actually be the standout on the roster? I think that actually increases their vallue

Luckily for aspas there are still some teams left that are still building their rosters, if this was in november or december he would be 100% screwed

Hopefully someone pays his buyout, no matter who the player is, I imagine it's uncomfy to play with someone that you know doesn't want to play on the team. It can really ruin the mood

They might pay the buyout if he agreed to take a lower salary to compensate.

I think 250k is way too much for a number of reasons, and that Lev could lower the buyout. But Aspas knew the buyout and that he had a two year contract. He forced his way out of the team in a dumb way and now he's on a very tough spot. Hes literally fucking around and finding out.

You do realize that Tenz was contract jailed right? Sean Gares talked about it back then. He was on the bench with an inflated buyout. 1M was not reasonable, even for someone like TenZ. C9 even asked 2M to 100T before Sen. 250k is a lot considering Aspas was a F/A when he got signed and there are not many orgs who can afford that. Consequently you are literally condemning him to stay on the team but that's the outcome Lev wanted anyway so it works out for them. It would be a real contract jail if Aspas were on the bench unable to leave next season though.

Not condemning him for staying, just saying a player that is forced to stay on a team to play often isn't good news. What I wanted was a good outcome for both which is hard since no one is paying the 250k. Either aspas is forced to stay or LEV takes a big financial hit.

You can argue it's LEVs fault for putting that 250k buyout, but I disagree. aspas agreed and signed to that contract too. So you'd think he'd be ok with staying for 2 years instead of just 1 and then complain teams aren't paying the 250k

Don't let it get to you. It's off season and people are still on the narrative that LEV shouldn't have become a mixed roster and should stuck with a latam core+ aspas.

I think Lev is at fault for not listening to their players and just making decisions without communicating, which is partially why aspas wants to leave in the first place.
