GenG winning Champions would be amazing!

As a long time fan of South Korean teams in general, me wanting GenG to win Champions is normal but I mean it in a way where them winning Champions would make VCT history by being the most dominant team ever.

Making it to every single Grand Finals of the year + winning Masters, Stage 2 and Champions would give future teams a new performance record to beat.

After Fnatic's performance in 2023, I didn't expect a team to dominate as much if not more than them anytime soon. Them winning Champions will do just that

I definitely have GENG winning champs, they look amazing this year. If anyone beats them imo it would be LEV, but i trust GENG to win it

it's where they realistically would have ended up (they did not partecipate due to war). i mean, zeta was 3rd at that tournament KEKW
(no hate on my zeta boys, but after seeing their performances at every other event you kind of have to guess if they were actually a 3rd place team)

idk nobody knows how that tournament could have turned out though. if LOUD didnt attend copenhagen then we could have assumed that they'd have won copenhagen as well instead of getting grouped

moreover there's nothing to say fpx would have won copenhagen had they participated in reykjavik because so many things change

the difference is fpx had won the emea split, so they would have started directly in playoff, not in groups

the playoff buff helps some teams and not others, there's an argument that FPX's run in groups helped them fix their mistakes early on, whereas a playoff spot could have meant they wouldn't have time to fix their mistakes.
Don't forget that more often than not, a playoff bye was detrimental to the team.
