what majors did you originally want to do and did you switch? I'm looking towards something to do with Computers i've been coding for around 5 years, a lot of people say its hard and very hard to find work in but I am very confident in my skills any tips? (put this in general discussion oopsies)

Ppl that say the cs job market sucks are there to scare you/only say it because they got rejected from every top 50 Forbes company it’s rlly not that bad

wanted to do premed, now im just riding out biochem looking for a suitable masters program, afterwards maybe med/pharma school or phd. You should honestly stick with it, or you can look towards an engineering major, either way you'll be doing copious amounts of math.

If it's something you want to do, go for it. (This goes for life in general). Don't listen to the people that say it's hard bc they're not you. 5 years of coding already has you ahead. Even if CS doesn't work out, you have the rest of your life to figure things out

yeah i mean i've been coding since i was like 12, and am pretty good at it will probably do game design or computer science or branch into information science

started geology this semester & don't really intend to switch. however, if i were to abandon it then i'd most likely go into climatology tbh. cs isn't bad but you gotta make sure it's something you personally love to do. i know some people who pursued it and have completely no passion because they initially took it up due to the big hype some time ago. outside of that tho you should be fine

Code still is one of the best choice for money now,but when someone finds that they are not suitable for studying computer in their undergraduate, they plan to pursue a graduate school in law and pursue some intellectual property-related work in the future.Now a lot of interdisciplinarity,you have to plan first you wanna work for money or do some research work,if you are really confident of your skill,next step you need find the areas that are most needed in the market right now ,whatever basic code,NLP or MV.

I'm gonna start Aerospace Engineering in September, but I know a lot of people who're doing CS, the most important thing is to get work experience and ensuring you build your portfolio on the side

Radiologic technician, however parents didn't approve because it's "dangerous". I proceed with that course since he funds for my college so I picked a different field instead.

Chemistry since there was no premed major in my school, swapped over to nutrition after realizing chem wasn't it for me

Ik a few people who went to the CS route so I'd say prioritize schools that have those programs and do other coding projects on the side.
