honestly does +victor -apoth sound like a good idea for EG? (if they stick around with the same other 4 members + potter going into next year which is highly doubtful). Victor could play duelist and sentinel as well and can let jaw flex more as well. Would be pretty funny if he started popping off like another Monyet scenario.

Victor is a no brainer move for EG. Potter will do wonders with a solid player like him in the right system

GenG said it themself Karon was a one in a million chance of a ultimate pickup, not only that but he also got the best support that they could've had with veterans and a coach devoted to the esport.

victor derrek jawg stellar(?) skuba if DZ/TTR and OXG don't get in maybe cooks

Potentially even Verno instead of Derrek but I feel like if OXG don't get in some org (C9 probably or sumn) is dropping a decently sized bag to pick him up so

Most of the time Vlr roster change ideas are usually from overreaction from fans.

can they even give an accurate statement on this? how often are ranked players immediately put into tier 1? from the few players i know it does seem to be effective at least. karon, primmie, and maybe narrate if you count him (his team was losing hard in t2, which makes him a bit of a strange pickup aside from his ranked rep). of course, you still have to scout for real talent but one in a million is strange to me when it looks like it works.

I feel like Karon is a poor example to use for this since he is the most extreme of extreme players. If you take a look at other players in their rookie years from ranked that weren't so successful like n4rrate (went from ranked to farming t2 immediately, so I count it), primmie (made talon slightly better in his first ever match with them, which is big all things considered), and DRX as well where they were kinda stuck recycling the old players (they look much fresher now and it looks like their team skill ceiling is higher).

Many players (especially in americas and emea) have been around for a long time and are only on the teams because of their seniority and the fact they have been in the scene for a while.

I truly do believe that players in ranked should be given more chances in the scene and it could help rejuvenate many "dead" teams.

Karon was a one in a million chance of happening because even if someone is as cracked as him in ranked it doesn't always mesh together as team chem and team play can be much more difficult for a fragging ranked player who's never played in tier 1 or tier 2. Primmie is a ranked player that was already being trialed by Talon long before he was first put into their team so it was much easier for him to play as he already had some team chemistry and wouldn't be added that late into the season if it wasn't for that reason. N4rrate on the other hand was completely dominating his games when he played and looked a lot like Demon1 which would bring a lot of attention for basically any team that needed more firepower, not only his ranked career.

TDLR: Karon is a one in a million chance of happening because not only is he good at fragging but managed to mesh together with his team that most ranked players can't.

In my opinion, I can't see Victor going to a team like C9 just because I don't know how the players would mesh together. I'm not saying this is a bad idea, I'm just saying that roster's chemistry would be weird.

players in ranked are given "chances" in tier 2 though, you can't expect to go from ranked to franchised right away. that's not how the system is intended to work. the whole point of tier 2 is to give players a chance to prove themselves, it serves as the pipeline of talent for tier 1

Idk y u got so many down frags. A 28 year old non IGL who has had his last 2 rosters break down due to out of game issues isn’t a hot commodity.

I think victor is good but idk if he’s gonna be the most expensive player around
