this is the first time in valorant history where none of the APAC/Pacific teams seem like a free win (ignoring Madrid cause it was only 2 teams). GenG and PRX are explanatory and DRX and Talon have insane upset potential and their ceilings are incredibly high.

i may have ruined my sleep schedule over the years watching Japan and Korea and MYSG Challengers, but it was worth it

I don't know whether it might be good or bad, but APAC is polarized; teams that make it to Champions are at the highest level across all regions, while teams that had no chance are at the lowest level across all regions.

Pacific has evolved, but not by much. PRX as usual are way ahead of their regional competitors. DRX made it to every tour except last 2 tourneys. GenG has pretty much taken DRX's as 2nd best in the region spot. I would like to see PRX fall off once like FNC did in Madrid or NRG in Americas. PRX made always qualified even when they roster changes. That tells how polarized pacific is.

I don't think APAC evolved that much, i think the meta just suits teams that love to fight and has aimers. Having an igl that is good and can shoot back is a plus.
