It only took maybe 2-3 weeks for Wo0t to be slotted in comfortably in EMEA and it worked wonders, G2 slotted icy in and switched up their whole leadership structure removing neT. C9 Integrated Runi and moose completely switched roles within 3 weeks, ending the record with 5-1 in stage 1. Shouldn't players who have been playing fps for 5+ years not be slotting in faster and adjusting even quicker? I mean back in the day when FNS got yay and married 1 week before qualifiers for masters Berlin, they qualified for Berlin.

You're overthinking it bro for sure, C9 did a change 2 weeks before moving their IGL onto a different agent. Slotting 2 different players back in and were much better off. I gave you examples on why your argument isn't consistent and more seen as cope for NRG than anything. Let's wait and see how GIANTX does without Redgar and see if your argument is valid, because it is a good argument to make but we have seen many times that it is not really the case. SEN was 100x the better as soon as they slotted in johnqt and Zellsis than before with the previous igling system with Marved and Dephh.
edit: also if you think it is based on rust, look at moose and runi on C9. Or wo0t who sat out for 6+ months to begin playing franchised when he turned of age.
not only are you completely glossing over the fact that the players returning to NRG haven’t touched comp play since champs 2023 as if it isn’t even worth mentioning, but to see you insinuating that I’m coping for this team because of dumbass examples trying to justify why NRG should be given expectations is crazy.
You listed examples of changes that never directly seeked to change the dynamics of the team at all (I mean, icy for neT is apparently worth as much as a change than this?). FNS didn’t just join to be their igl, he joined to completely manage the clusterfuck that was Split 1 in and outside matches. Their head coach wanting to depart after seeking FNS isn’t just some random ass coincidence. It is in every way starting from scratch for them after several, several months of scrims with the old team.
Again, if you wanna disagree with me then live with that while this team preps for 2025 which may as well be their initial goal for making a change like this in June.

Other teams have definitely done it within a month regardless of how bad the situation has been, some teams fail like NRG have just now. You forget that two players were literally retired for almost a year. And this roster had only a month of practice. Whilst the teams they lost to this split already existed and played in this capacity since last year (with minor changes). The first being Madrid winner and the second being currently what is considered the best team in Americas given their Shanghai placement.
It's not like fns and s0m didn't play with crashes and Victor before, just admit it they're terrible. No matter how much time they get, they will still not make another international LAN because of how competitive NA is right now, if FNS can't IGL properly then what can he contribute to the team? We don’t know how bad they’ll be with a regular amount of practice, but any team is going to flop with just a month’s worth, get that through your skull for me pretty please. If you’re interpreting this post as if I’m making excuses for players I literally do not care about besides s0m who I just think is pathetic, you need to wake up for me
