How do you even judge his higher highs? One is a controller and the other is a duelist. If we go by sheer impact, t3xture is definitely higher. Impossible for Gen.G to replace him, they aren't winning without t3xture dropping three every round.
But unfortunately, I can definitely see a DRX without Mako working out.
Mako isn't just good as a controller because he shoots back. He's good because he is very strong at anchoring sites on defense (his Haven c anchor is so good, you should watch vods of that), he has very good lurk timings as viper, he has good timings and gamesense in general, even amongst pro players. He's very good at, and I believe this is his main benefit to the team, setting up his teammates. Whenever he plays brim or omen, he always gets the most assists in the server, and you might say oh this is normal for controller players. Not in my opinion. Most of the duelist support comes from the initiators with flashes and scans. This means that mako is very efficient with all of his util usage, more so than other controllers imo. All of this combined makes him a very strong and impactful smokes player, on top of the fact that he can frag out if necessary. Also, I would disagree with what you said. Cracked duelists aren't actually that hard to find. Aspas himself was a ranked demon before he joined LOUD. And while texture is very good, I'm certain that there will be future players that will be able to do what the best duelist today can do. However, reaching mako's level of skill as a controller is much harder than learning how to be a cracked duelist.
Finally, I still believe mako has had higher highs even though he is a controller player. His rating since champions 2022 have been through the roof, even when DRX was in their slump last year. One thing that mako is praised for is his consistency, so he is able to consistently reach his best performance, even though his best is extremely high.
ofc its many, they have 3 team & the league is held in Korea
This give a HUGE advantage for Koreans tier 2 teams and tier 2 players to develop & grow compared to other regions in APAC, because all the Pacific teams are in Korea and it will be easier to find scrims compare to other region like SEA will only scrim againt eachother (indo vs indo, sg vs sg , thai vs thai) & not will get the chance to scrim againt BIG teams like PRX etc.
Like I said I see tier 2 sea teams playing franchise teams all the time. Dont be out here saying bs and discrediting koreas success and improvement. People like you been talking shit bout korea since beta. The reality is korean pros work and practice harder than your average sea pro. Its a reality you havent accepted yet but you ll know what I mean in the near future.
when tf did i said sea tier 2 not playing fracnhise teams ? i said it will more harder cuz of the server n PING differnt...and it will more easier for kr tier 2.... and also u get 3 team direct ? did i wrong ?
The reality is korean pros work and practice harder than your average sea pro ? WOW NICE NOW YOU'RE SAYING NONSENSE BULLSHIT....how tf do u know sea is not working hard....this is E-SPORT buddy Hard work doesn't exists here if you don't meet opportunities
