what i really dont understand is that the japanese always use the best animation in those kind of slice of life mangas meanwhile we have insane mangas like shuumatsu no valkyrie or one punch man with a terrible animation that just kill the huge potential those mangas have, just like solo leveling for example the most hyped manhwa of all time have a mid animation if only they could give it a top tier production like demon slayer they would make the most popular anime of all time

exactly, when i was really hyped by the end of season 2 i started reading the manga and oh my the quality is terrible and the story is just not good enough to make it good, easyly one of the worst mangas ever but they pick up a thrash manga like demon slayer and transform it in a top 10 animes of all time imagine if they do this with an already good manga

solo leveling just ok, and i think manwhas would still be perfectly fine without solo leveling's popularity. at least from the people i know, after they read solo leveling they don't touch other manwhas afterwards so it's hard to say solo leveling has much of an influence from my experience.

That's a studio problem. Shuumatsu no Valkyrie was made as a Netflix original iirc and the animators weren't given much time. And tbh it made the series 50% funnier to watch.

Kagurabachi is probably one of the most overrated manga I've ever read, it's just basic shounen slop. MamaYuyu clears

I Haven't watched VE yet but considering Frieren is becoming a cultural phenomenon in Japan and the anime hasn't touched the best arcs yet, I think it's most certainly a certified hood classic.

too much emphasis on emotion & beautiful scenes. this is one of the biggest reasons why studio ghibli is so popular and considered classics despite having generic plot.
