he just isnt as good and as impactful as other sova, sure he might be a good player and keeping up the hype in server but he isnt a top 5 Sova there is no way

uhhh...Hiko is indeed baiting. Every Sova has a similar playstyle of playing in the back for darts and shit. But Hiko's "playing in the back" is worse than every single Sova that you can name in the scene. There is a reason why he is called the "Master Baiter".

My guy tf are you on.

Its one thing to be a fan, but it's another to be ignorant. Sinatraa was by and far the best sova in the world. He was the only player to get like 2 kills with his ult every time it was deployed + shock dart kills. Man invented the odin spam through ascent + haven.

With how nrg has been playing I think eeiu shouldn't be up there, I would replace him with bcj and keep the list like that.

Many Sova players don't play Skye+Breach+Kay0. If they have to flex it's often to a Sage, another duelist or even Viper. So it makes sense to create his own category. Most duelist could alternate between Raze, Jett and Reyna depending on the map but someone like Subroza could not flex to Sova despite playing an initiator for example

initiator is still a role of its own and just as often as sova players who flex to sage/duelists also flex to skye/breach and I've never seen a player other than Leviathan flex onto viper from mainly playing sova

Hiko, and BcJ does on Breeze and Rawkus and Xeta does on Split, the only ones that really switch to another initiator are like, Crashies and fiziq (Hiko used to on Split like months ago but its been since before Masters 2 since we've seen 100Ts Split and honestly i think Hiko will go Viper next time they play Split but idk lol we will see)

I kept trying to think of someone from xset worthy of top 5 and I couldn’t.

Maybe bcj. I like zekken but he’s not top 5 duelist.

They are a solid team, but they lack star power.

I thought about both of them, but I personally think the players I listed are better or just as good as the players you mentioned.

I had a hard time with sentinel, it’s the weakest part of my list. I was on the fence about FNS, but I couldn’t think of anyone that stood out.

The only one of those players I strongly disagree with is s0m, but who would you replace to add the other 3?

They are great players you mentioned, but I don’t know if they are better than those on my list.

I'm going to be a bit biased when I say this but, I honestly think BabyJ and Hazed are better than Oderus as a sentinel. Don't get me wrong, he's a really strong sentinel and an even better IGL, but I think the other 2 are just more consistent as of recent.

Supamen for me has always been a top 3 controller player, just slightly behind nitr0. He frags and he uses his utility masterfully. I'd say he can definitely replace Vanity.

Your point about s0m is fair. NRG looked utterly shit recently but s0m has usually been the one to shine out in the end for NRG.

i dont think yay is on the top 5 duelists in NA list
First off, I know he's insane, but no one cared enough for him when he was playing on ABX, now that he's going to a big org like NV, people started giving a damn
Second, I could think of a bunch of other better duelists

Android (someone who is VERY underlooked, someone who I think is better than yay)

and etc.
and third, you can't include people on a list of top 5 ____ when they barely have anything to show for it, yay hasn't accomplished much, so therefore, I cannot consider him a top 5 duelist in NA

I will agree that yay has more to prove, but I only see MAYBE 1 or 2 names on your list that could possibly replace him and I personally don’t think any of those players are better than yay.

Android is without a second doubt in my mind, better than yay, and here's why:
He's taken NRG, a team many didn't expect too much from, to the UBF of S2: C2, and placed 3rd, and he aided them to make it to the main event of the Challengers series a consecutive 4 times
He has great stats, and although he doesn't se jett like yay, he is very versatile with his agents, and can play smokes and sentinels if needed to. He is better than yay, but yay is now on a very dangerous C9 team while Android has to settle for less on a good, but not great NRG team.

Shanks is, unlike half of the list i made, an OPer and a jett main, and he helps Rise win in a big way because unlike other Jetts like Wardell, he is a amazing rifler and is just as good on the OP, and although is on a relativly new team, he has propelled them and made themselves as threats to the rest of the NA scene, since they can show that they hang with the best.

Theif is great, and is probably the biggest reason LG were considered as a "Dark Horse" team. His rifling is great, his impact when he plays is partially the reason that LG does so well, and he creates alot of space when he is leading the charge

ShoT_Up creates alot of space and makes his impact felt when playing, he puts up great numbers and the fact that some people think he's washed or that he's not as good is actually sad.

So yea, Android is the only one on the entire list I know could replace yay, but the rest are not to be taken lightly and could contend with yay in terms of who's better than who, But your opinion is yours, and my opinion is mine, and I can't make you change it, but I do like the rest of your lists

This is way to much text to be a bait, but I honestly stopped reading at

“Android took a team that no one expected anything out of.”

Android is on the most underperforming team in all of NA. Practically everyone expects more from them.

Also, yay is 2 games from qualifying to Berlin, and that would put his “Achievements” higher than everyone on your list. That’s how little “Achievements” matter.

Actually, I can understand his point about Android over Yay, even if it is a slight tangent. During their times in ABX, Android was what stuck out the most on ABX as a duelist and he was what brought the team decently far. When NRG gave him an offer they couldn't refuse, Android switched and gave the spotlight to Yay.

As of recent results, you can argue yay is better just off of that but then again, NRG is completely lost right now and it isn't really Android's fault. Yay is known for the 8 ping warrior but wasn't "crushing it" when the ping wasn't absolutely in his favor (TSM vs ABX). This isn't to take away from his fragging ability, he's an insane duelist. Just trying to be a bit more "realistic" when accounting for all of the history.

Though, in the end, I'd have to give Yay the win over android here. But I can certainly see the reasoning behind why Android might be rated higher.

you don't get a trophy for participating in an event, you get a trophy when you actually win it, you can say that yay has more appearances in Master events than everyone I've mentioned (aside from theif and Shot_Up, who both have appeared in Masters 1), but you don't call that an achievement since you're not getting a trophy for getting into the event

yay only has more VCT points bcuz he literally just got accquired by NV, who has 115 points????
his original team, ABX, only had 20 VCT points?
there's no accomplishment in signing with a team that has more points than your old team, all you did was pack your bags and go to a different team, when he wins points with NV (which he likely will do since that team has stacked the deck), then you can say how yay has more points than everyone on my list, but yay didn't contribute jack to NV's 115 points
