agreed. obviously my SEN shitposts are just a joke, but back when sen wasn't scrimming between challengers 1 and berlin quals, i was pretty concerned. i think sen had a bit of an off tournament, but even if the players individually performed better i still don't think they would've won.

at least, finally we can start to see a rivalry and some competition at the top of na again, and i definitely believe in SEN bouncing back by champions

1. Before the CR game I thought GMB might actually win, and CR is definitely a solid team, but GMB do not look that great right now. VS is basically a better 100T and should have this game in the bag.

These teams are pretty evenly matched imo, comes down to the map pool. 100T ban of Bind is ACE best map, while ACE's Split ban is 100T's second worst, maybe third worst. 100T is also top seed, so they can choose 2 maps, and they are heavy favorites on Ascent + not bad on other maps. Should be able to close this game out.

SEN definitely got a much easier road to the grand finals. playing 2 na teams that they historically dominate, or a pretty shaky SMB/Acend is a lot better than going up against VS, G2 and Gambit who all look very good, especially VS and Gambit before they choked

also i dont think SEN necessarily tried to throw, that would be picking yoru. they still went with their usual game plan and comp, just didnt bother throwing in any new stuff for antistrats

actually agree, better to lose in groups and focus up for champions then keep dominating and not change up their playstyles. gold2 exposed a lot of mistakes today

I could see BR definitely forming a really strong team that could maybe be as strong as VS, but all the best players are stuck on too many different teams. Get heat, mwzera, Sacy, saadhak, and another insane support player (idk about saadhak but heard he's pretty good), along with a really solid coach, and that team could do some damage.

I think Acend and Gambit still look really strong. Acend seem to be like the EU Sentinels, and I could definitely see them making finals. Gambit hard choked Icebox and the KAY/O on Split was extremely effective, which SEN doesn't run. If Gambit gets their nerves in check I could also see them challenging SEN, of course EZ for SEN though

TenZ was that highlight player, like an ABX yay or a cNed before on C9, hitting insane clips and basically solo carrying his team. But now I think of him as the dev1ce of valorant. He's insanely consistent for his team and does his role in the team perfectly, but he doesn't go for those highlight clips as often anymore. He doesn't give you those insane deag aces every map, but in so many rounds he will get you the first blood, or the 2k that opens up the bomb site. That's his job and he does it incredibly well

Pretty good list. SMB is looking really strong right now, and could definitely win against SEN. Really interested to see how VS and F4Q fare in Berlin, they are exciting teams to watch

Asstralia is known as by far the worst region in Valorant. Since their best team got tired of farming gold ranked players, they moved to NA, where they remain a T2 team that can't qualify for any major tournament. They are not investing in Airport speedruns because their teams cannot make a single LAN.

"It was a seeding match" what advantage does Acend get by throwing a game? Do you think they would rather have less prize money and a bad seed going into Berlin? This is why SEN is always on top in NA, they want to win every game and every tournament, doesn't matter if its seeding or not. Thats the winners mentality that keeps the top teams on top. Acend just played poorly and lost, gambit played well and won. stop making excuses

And Acend was easily the best team in the EU region... G2 who they destroyed is Tier 2 in a good region like NA

I think EMEA should get 2 slots, one for Gambit and one for SMB, the only two good teams in EMEA. NA T2 teams like Acend are ruining the high-level competition in Berlin
