eu valorant compared to na is like silver vs radiant, the difference is huge.
but in cs eu is much stronger, why are they so weak in valorant? i feel like they're the worst region right now, the level of play is quite low.
0fcuZ [#3]Tell me that you started to watch Valorant in 2023 without telling that you started to watch Valorant in 2023:
What do you mean? EU sucks hard in this game, they play like silvers
silver vs radiant

yeah sure
The_Cleg [#14]EMEA - region with most trophies
NA - region with most VLR baitersI know which side I'm on😉
China
TheAceGamer30 [#9]I hope th and Kc does well to shush na fans about this narrative
Damn, honestly didn't expect this from you theacegamer30

you also want SEN to win. kinda contradict each other don't they? given the only na team is sen
Psion [#18]you also want SEN to win. kinda contradict each other don't they? given the only na team is sen
I want sen to win but I would also like th and Kc to do well they look promising for sure
AutismCanBeCured [#17]Damn, honestly didn't expect this from you theacegamer30
I want Kc do good make it to grand finals with sen
TheAceGamer30 [#19]I want sen to win but I would also like th and Kc to do well they look promising for sure
i want KC to exceed my expectations which I've set pretty low because they are inexperienced at international events, but a SEN v LOUD grand finals sounds too hype to miss out on

is this really you?

Fair enough yes sen vs loud would go crazy I think sen should win to go with loud run in every year where they reach 2nd in first event bomb out in the 2nd event and then do great in champs

they bombed out of tokyo, but i wouldn't say they bombed out of copenhagen in terms of anything except result, they just lost to optic and their kruptonite
rtg9000 [#15]bait aside.
most of eastern europe (the cracked part of europe let's be frfr) still prefers CSGO by far and hence more dedicated players for it, yet they (russia especially) still produce crazy val players
if CS just stopped existing it'd be a wrap within a few years
"It'd be a wrap within a few years".
A few months at most, genuinely

I agree actually, the dedication and talent EU cs has is insane.
its like they basically only play cs the whole day from like 12 years of age.
GKeepItReal [#5]What do you mean? EU sucks hard in this game, they play like silvers
? EU 5 - NA 2 (+SA 1) in VCT trophies what are you on about?

Not to mention the level of detailed meta thinking is much deeper in CS still than in Valorant (which obviously makes sense given it's been around for much longer), so they are used to thinking about both the macro and micro game in a lot more detail.
You have people like ropz and s1mple who work extremely hard to exploit the tiniest mechanics and map peculiarities to get an advantage.
We simply don't see that extreme level of commitment and thinking about the game in valorant at this point
bonkashi [#2]because everyone in eu is playing cs
same reason na val is so much better than na cs just the other way round
The funny thing is even if they prefer cs they are still the region with more trophies, imagine if they were trying hard

CS is only so much more deeply detailed than valorant because it is so much less broad. It’s got nothing to do with players/regions and everything to do with the games. Valorant has over a hundred unique abilities while CS has 5 nades
Edit: obviously the game of counter strike existing since last century has an impact, I’m not saying it doesn’t

more abilities =/= more complex
cs you gotta think about movement mechanics and other shit too.
even in csgo players were finding out new strats and spots 10 years after the games release.
many abilities in valorant basically do the same thing too.
and nothing to do with players? I mean, I wouldnt say we have seen many young valorant pros who have the dedication and willpower to play for as long periods of time as the cs prodigys do.

I never said valorant was more complex. Complex =/= broad. And valorant hasn’t existed long enough for a Monesy or bonk to exist so we can’t say for sure
