dozens of hours to vod review SEN's Split and he cooks up pure 3-13 garbage. best coach in NA would rather ban Lotus instead of SEN's most played map. hopefully he stops being cocky for once in his life once Split 1 starts.
capital_d_colon [#5]Maybe just maybe anti stratting isn't as easy as people think.
Especially with teams/players that have a deep understanding of the map and don't just play off of set plays.
Potter legit anti stratted LOUD's Ascent into oblivion though
CoCloudy [#11]Nrg started 1-3 in league play last year
they have played 2 series where they looked good and 1 series where they looked bad
this core consitently gets better with time
so shut the FUCK up
im not doubting them for the entire year this is literally the 1st event of many but he quite literally had all the time in the world to anti strat Split which he was doing bc he left it open and he cooked up this. Potter did the same with LOUD's Ascent and did great.
hellfire [#12]I don't think he's the only one to blame though, D1 did have a pretty poor performance and by the end of sunset it was so obvious that they ran out of ideas and aim
I still expect em to bounce and do well in reg split, but it's the same situation as Lev right now
idc about Sunset though
Tsikhamani [#13]It was fns who was saving his ass all these days and with out him he got exposed!!
he legit gassed chet up 24/7 with all that huge advantage shit and look what happened. Potter had the same time to counter LOUD's Ascent and did wonders with it, Chet didn't even make the team look coherent.
WhoseTao [#16]He had only 1 game on sunset to anti strat tho
Im talking mid game, dont play A retake if you lost every A retake
Yobo [#20]Im talking mid game, dont play A retake if you lost every A retake
That was a comp diff, NRG doesnt have enough util to push past smokes and only had one option, which is to fight in front of site, as in site its impossible, and Sen knew that, which is why unlike the G2 games, they were far more aggressive on defense to not let NRG set up. You cannot just not play A and go B every round like that will work anyways lol
cartixuzi [#19]he legit gassed chet up 24/7 with all that huge advantage shit and look what happened. Potter had the same time to counter LOUD's Ascent and did wonders with it, Chet didn't even make the team look coherent.
And even the map veto was shit!! Gave SEN their two favorite map picks!!
uwukitten [#4]it wouldn't have even reached split if diamond1 hadn't missed 20 op shots and 50 vandal shots on sunset
nah, sunset should have never been that close, sen shouldve had it in the bag they let them stick the spike twice and lost both pistols and forced after 1st pistol round loss
LilToTo17 [#25]Chet's fault for his players whiffing shots. Especially Demon1 on the awp lol was not it today.
Demon1 whiffing a lot on the first map is the reason why NRG got 3-13'd on the decider?
Eyedd [#27]Leaving split was a BAD move but they had that game 2-0 9 times out of ten. Unlucky demon1 played halfway poor
nah that Sunset map was lucky for NRG to even bring it that far, they kept getting bailed out by prime OPTIC.
pessi_41 [#29]delusional dumb fk is back. kid mentality with kid brain
TheAceGamer30 alt, reported for toxicity!
cartixuzi [#8]Potter legit anti stratted LOUD's Ascent into oblivion though
Alot of teams had dismantled Loud’s ascent in the past though? Drx, Fnatic, and Optic themselves had beaten Loud’s Ascent. Execution also matters. Nrg played badly thsts why they lost.
cartixuzi [#26]Demon1 whiffing a lot on the first map is the reason why NRG got 3-13'd on the decider?
technically yes 'cause if he hit shots on the first map it wouldnt have even went to map 3

Check out #4
Chet can coach though, he just got waaaay too cocky with that Split.
