In Japan, there was no custom of playing games on PC. This is because of the popularity of Nintendo and PS. Then, when fortnite became popular, the number of people playing games on PC gradually increased. So it is not surprising that it is considered a spectator sport.
Also, I would like to talk about education in Japan. Because of the above, the profession of professional gamer has not penetrated the Japanese market. Therefore, it is difficult for Japan to develop esports to the level of Korea and China.
So Japanese teams can only rely on foreign players. However, there are several academy teams in Japan, so we may be able to expect more in a few years.

The biased zeta fan wants a full Japanese roster, but the normal people want them to win, so they don't care about nationality.
I think hiroron is a good fit for zeta, but I honestly can't predict their moves at all (no leaks at all).

  1. it is true that in the past geeks were not thought well of... But now there is no such culture at all, so please come to Akihabara.
  2. I don't mean to overestimate ourselves, but I am proud of our predecessors who created the anime and manga culture, and I admire people like you who love our culture.

I don't know about SK, but try to come to Narita or Haneda airport in Japan and talk to young Japanese people or people working there. Your suspicions will soon be confirmed and you will find that Japanese people welcome foreigners with open arms.
But old people should stop, for they often ignore even us Japanese and cut off communication with others.

Japanese, like English, is very different from written and spoken language. Therefore, if you want to be able to use Japanese in your daily life, it is faster to watch youtube videos that teach Japanese than to buy teaching materials. Also, as I mentioned earlier, speaking with Japanese people is the best way to improve your Japanese.

What areas of Japan are worth visiting? I don't know many nice places to go to even though I know it has a lot of amazing things to see.
Also how common are hot springs in Japan??

The place I recommend is Tokyo. You can do all of Japan here. There are almost certainly hot springs in the Japanese countryside.

  1. Japanese fans were very surprised about the dismissal because they thought only ten and crow would be released.

  2. DFM🤡 Obviously

But seoldam is different. He was a streamer in CR for a while and gained quite a few fans during that time. So seoldam fans outnumber DFM fans.

As for the games in general, fortnite and apex were very good. Not only the results, but also the player base seemed to be very strong. I am speculating, but maybe Japanese people are better suited for battle royale games.

  1. I’ve been learning a bit of Japanese the past year. I know many words and sentences (numbers, times, asking for something, directions, etc.) But Kanji has been a pain in the ass because each kanji can have a different meaning or the word itself can have different kanji. So as a native Japanese, do you still struggle with kanji or is it a basic thing to get down in childhood?

  2. Ideally, would you like to see Koreans or other imports on the ZETA roster? I personally wouldn’t.

  1. I learned all the kanji that I use in my daily life in my childhood. However, we still study Kanji because we learn difficult Kanji that we do not use in Japan. The reason why we study kanji is because they are used in entrance exams for high school and university.

  2. I don't think it is necessary to have only Japanese roster because now we are not playing games in JP region as in the past but as PACIFIC. But realistically, it is a very difficult decision because Japanese people's English skills are so low that if we make a multinational roster, they may not be able to communicate well with each other.

Sure, recycling is a hassle.

Voyeurism on trains has become a social problem in Japan. Recently, efforts have been made to improve the situation, such as the installation of security cameras on trains and the creation of women-only cars.
I hope to see that kind of crap eliminated as soon as possible.

It's totally fine! I would like to do it if the time is right! But my English listening skills are catastrophic...

Why has your culture become so overly feminine over the last century? This has happened in the west aswell, but not to the same extend and your culture always have been based on very masculine values. Discipline, fighting, honor... Japanese people used to be the most badass people in the world.

I am honestly just curious lol, what happened there?

They lost the war. Before, they were pillaging and raping east Asia and after the nukes and their surrender, Douglas McArthur supervised their new "Peace constitution".

I see. I often hear that prices are high in the US. And now that the yen is weak, I will go there when the time is better.
If you live in Japan, I can teach you a lot! Although your family seems to know a lot about it

The prices are rising for sure (ironically Dollar Tree is now charging $1.25 😂). I also noticed a small price increase in Japan as well (most crane games no longer had the 500円 for 6 tries deal 😔). I’m actually curious about the workload for students. How is it in Japan, I guess in terms of stress?
