kimble [#3]just put the resources to the actual game and dont do shit like this imo
Exactly it's not gonna be the same on mobile
tomato211222 [#2]Why mobile it's and fps idk why they realising mobile I don't think it will succeed
Pubg mobile tho. Idk depends it could be pretty good. There's a market for it.
tomato211222 [#2]Why mobile it's and fps idk why they realising mobile I don't think it will succeed
asia is a big market for mobile gaming.
also pubg mobile was very successful, so maybe there's a chance for valorant mobile to be successful as well
tomato211222 [#2]Why mobile it's and fps idk why they realising mobile I don't think it will succeed
In some markets, mobile is the biggest platform by far.
In india (and some other sea countries), mobile gaming is HUGE.
100% it will make money and be a success
cohnr [#11]for people complaining that they need to focus on the main game I dont think you realise this isnt a game for the people that already play valorant
Also this will not be the same dev team that are working on the PC game for sure.
We’re not losing pc dev time with them developing the mobile version.
cohnr [#11]for people complaining that they need to focus on the main game I dont think you realise this isnt a game for the people that already play valorant
I'm all up for them expanding to mobile and console as long as no cross play with pc. It's probably similar to what they do for league and wild rift.

No way there will ever be crossplay man. The mechanics of the mobile game re recoil etc will 100% have to be substantially different for it to work on mobile

they wont do crossplay because of how unfair it would be

PUBGM surpassed PUBG in every aspect
bonkashi [#7]will fail just like apex mobile tbh. games of their complexity really arent suited to the mobile format
VALO IS 100 TIMES more simple then Apex..
apex requires learning abt so much attachment, guns, agents, heals etc...
Valo is just learn agent ability... and lean toward buying Vandal/Phantoms

vlr user basic reading comprehension moment fucking hate this site
i never said they were just as complex as eachother? do you think i dont fucking know that? i just said theyre both complex, which they are, apex mechanically and valorant strategically.
also you very clearly know jack shit about either game if you think the most important things to learn are gun attatchments for apex and phantom or vandal for valorant
Ullyr [#8]Pubg mobile tho. Idk depends it could be pretty good. There's a market for it.
But you see it will be very hard on mobile
bruh336 [#9]asia is a big market for mobile gaming.

I know about that but generally valorant is not like other games

I mean COD has a pretty big market in Phillipines, India and Indonesia but didn’t quite tap it the way it did with COD mobile
The difficulty doesn’t matter to many people but if they are able to emulate the gaming experience on mobile then People May Watch the Esport More / Just Help Valorant Grow In General Compared to the Way it has been going
This will make the market have the following competitor
Were going to excluded BRs because they are different genre than VAL, that is a round-based 5v5
CODM as the current market leader in this genre
VAL Mobile
R6 Mobile (Launching this month)
Standoff 2 (popular in Russia has no Asian scene)
Critical Ops (very old game, they dont start esports until like 4 years after game released)
Warzone Mobile (CODM but not developed by Tencent, has 6v6 modes)
CHINA ONLY CrossFire Mobile (has twice CODM CN playerbase, has Franchised League << You read it correct)
Will Asia win this game?: The closest we can compared is CODM's World Championship last year saw it being... Get ready.
NA vs NA final
THE PROBLEM is we see what happen to Wild Rift, and its possible to happen again: Dividing fanbase of why play this when PC existed or why PC dont get this/that

I think my main problem is that as a PC player I'm not able to think how it will be on mobile like jiggle peeking and stuff. That's why I'm not so open minded about this mobile valorant.
Do you think there will be an esports for mobile valorant?

At least in China its expected for Tencent reasons, Globally well CODM have one for 4 years so Its possible (I mean they did with Wlid Rift even though it didnt last long)
tomato211222 [#22]I know about that but generally valorant is not like other games
u right its a hit or miss, but its logical that riot / tencent want to reach the mobile market

Man I'm was excited for wildrift and it never released in India. Now I'm in UK for studies I play LoL but people are Hella toxic I quit and playing Val when I got time :)
bruh336 [#28]u right its a hit or miss, but its logical that riot / tencent want to reach the mobile market
Yes thank you I wasn't able to word it properly thanks for understanding some would flame me
kimble [#3]just put the resources to the actual game and dont do shit like this imo
I'm willing to bet that no Riot resources are actually used for the development of the mobile version, that's only Tencent

Ullyr [#8]Pubg mobile tho. Idk depends it could be pretty good. There's a market for it.
Just like apex legends mobile they got shut down because no was interested and all the market is in pubg and free fire.
jkjkjk [#32]I'm willing to bet that no Riot resources are actually used for the development of the mobile version, that's only Tencent
yeah most likely
FDWC- [#40]Crisis Action still clears sadly
and also this game gon be dominated by SEA,CN & Brazil
and India
jonny05 [#41]and India
don't wanna be that guy but...
what have india achieve in any fps/battle royale mobile game?
