ardiis going back to EMEA, Yay back on nrg for 2024. Ardiis had enough of Keith America
If I’m being honest I don’t think t1 teams are going to pick him up unless they are willing to break the language barrier
He might be done unless he switches roles. Every NA team already has a good duelist.
This Ardiis disrespect is crazy. He's not playing like some world class duelist, but he still has positive impact.
Even if they do replace ardiis, what’s the incentive to bring in yay from t3 instead of an up and coming talent that’s still in t2. I’d assume his private will be larger than theirs as well
Because he has worked with 3 of the 4 players on the team and the coach and it has proven they work well together
They may know each other but Yay wasn’t able to keep up and I’m skeptical whether or not he would be able to thrive the same way he did before in the chamber meta. I understand that he is a high level Jett and his teammates may have been subpar for his level but imo I think NRG as an org would rather want players who fit the meta well and can be trained by their great strategists of Chet and fns to be way better than before
the incentive is that Yay was optic's best player last year and Ardiis will never in a million years reach a hair of Yay's peak. Ardiis is like the 4th best player on this team at best.
I understand he was the best player in the world but with how rapidly riot makes changes and updates to the game it’s easy to fall out of favor in the meta. If I had to bring up an example of it, I’d think of KennyS. Absolute demon on the awp but because of how well he utilized it. However it got nerfed and his career became obscure and mediocre by playing on many teams with it not working out
L take tbh. Yay has not shown that he's as good as he used to be when going gets tough. Chamber nerfs killed him, Meta changes killed him. and lack of Team synergy killed him. It just shows that Yay being a million years better than ardiis means nothing if he doesn't have the support to go along with it. They're not going to change what's working and pay more for Yay just to replace a team that has already shown success together, that would be braindead on their Org's end.

wdym? is it really working out for NRG? every org will assess their options. if they can upgrade Ardiis (which is super easy) they will 100 percent go for it.

KC need an igl not a duelist, scream needs to embrace the fact he isn't a flex player and definitely not an igl.
