Now that yay has left dsg. Do you think nrg will pick up yay and drop ardiis or keep him in hopes that he picks up some consistency? No hate to ardiis but he just isn't what nrg needs imo and its been like 5 months.
Top4 is still a good enough result; why take a gamble with yay?
Don't get me wrong I love yay and I think he's still one of the best players in the world under the right environment
NRG has a roster that is capable of competing at an international level and yay is looking iffy in the public eye, plus they have months of practice with ardiis
I dont think so

Very true, 4th place is not a bad spot at all and all the months of practice with ardiis are def not something that should be overlooked. I just think that ardiis isn't right for this team, he's not bad but he just doesn't have that opping ability that yay does and even though yay is not looking to hot rn, I think if he finds himself in a team that supports and plays around him then he can once again become a very high-tier player (not that he isnt rn but yk, tier 2). But the gamble is quite risky.
Asuna_Yuuki [#6]Yea but thats when PRX were good with their first roster
We literally just lost to a PUBG streamer
The two situations are completely different
I don't think CGRS is terrible and should be treated like some streamer that got a Cinderella play but yeah, I agree that these are two completely different situations.

He isn't terrible, but he's hovering at immortal 3 in rank and he's had 10 days to practice. To put it into comparison, imagine fnatic without Derke or EG without Demon1 or Jawgemo
aylez [#3]they won’t drop ardiis
if they do pick up yay, i highly doubt he will be an active starter, most likely a 6th man. you just cant play jett every map, especially this passive of one in the current meta. i think he could play some maps and sit out the others.
He could be in the main roster actually, he can play Jett on Ascent, Haven, Split, Pearl and even Fracture (I know NRG tried that Sova Raze comp but previously they played Jett Skye and it was pretty good. They won against 100t and almost won against Loud, but they threw) and in Bind he could play Sage or Chamber, depends on their comp choice. That leaves us with just Lotus out, and even so I don't think KJ it's a hard agent to flex, he could do a decent job on that role. If they try the 6 man roster I think he could be in the main roster and leave ardiis just for Lotus and Fracture
personally, I think nrg won't have either player. One massive problem that nrg has is that they don't have one specific sentinel player. Victor has proven that he can play jett and raze so they don't need to make a change their. Honestly, I think nrg might sign a player like nAts or suygetsu. (praying we don't get a franchise ready babyj). Call me crazy, I don't see NRG winning a championship until they have a hard sentinel player.
chick [#16]Was ardiis this inconsistent on FPX? Never getting the play for your team in the big matches - but only the slightly thrown upset games?
Yeah he was very inconsistent during their Copenhagen run

fnatic without derke could honestly still make it as long as they have a good entry to fill it
kirrans [#20]fnatic without derke could honestly still make it as long as they have a good entry to fill it
True, but considering how close the EG and FNC game was, anything could've went wrong if a 6th member had to sub for any of their best players

TBH Derke never really showed up that series so he might as well of been subbed lol.
