You know DisguisedToast is kicking himself for choosing the wrong F/A team 😭
eric_5008 [#3]To be fair, toast is building a team from the ground up which is alot harder than just buying a team that has a great core already
True
TrialRunnr [#2]Toast actually made that team, Lud just picked it up

Nah if you’re gonna risk your money and career then n a team why would you go with unproven/washed players when you could atleast increase possible chances with the ex i think xset squad? Or wtv
Astral420 [#4]Nah. He is kicking himself for making wrong decisions and kicking their IGL out.
Well first of all, he isn't making roster decisions other than the yay one maybe (it's the coach). And more importantly, do you really think DSG would bench their igl and then toast had to scramble to find a fifth player like 4 days before their game? There was clearly more going on there behind the scenes, my theory was that steel benched himself to prove a point.

I wish 'building' a team didn't mean making roster changes every 2 days.

Was toast the one to make the decision to bench steel?
Manaphy [#12]Was toast the one to make the decision to bench steel?
No, roster moves aren’t up to the CEO of the company. Things that effect the game are usually talked about with everyone in the team but ultimately the IGL or coach in this case would likely have the final say.
Basically they don’t leave game decisions to a streamer queuing plat lobbies.

Didn't say he made the decision. I meant to say that the org as a whole is at fault for their shambles.

all that "building" a team to kick exalt before split 2 and then kick steel for the 2nd half of split 2 while bringing in washed players instead of new talent from tier 3, all this while bringing exalt back after the damage has already been done. Ludwig and charlie actually had discussed after Moist lost a couple important games in split 1 BUT they were not impulsive and stuck through but ludwig said he started attending their scrims and team meetings which I can guarantee you helped their morale. This along with full trust they worked hard for split 2 and kept improving. They could've easily scrapped some players who underperformed in split 1 BUT they didnt, like toast did.
