All the grand theft auto games, fallout and elder scrolls are better open world games. Elden ring is better too

if I had to pick a single game it'd have to be Minecraft
just combines so many different genres
not the best at anything (except maybe being an art program in game form) but good at pretty much everything
BOTW if it had a little more complexity. most hours tho is probably the usual daily games that everyone plays (currently, csjoe)
Rdr2 even if I ignore the brilliant writing and storytelling narrative the sheer fucking attention to details does it for me
Dark souls the only game that pushes the idea of a game being a story through mechanics and letting the player uncover their story unlike other games that are a movie within a game (rdr2, gow) botw is good too. None of these games are my favorites its just what i believe are the best designed games that push an agenda within the artform instead of copying other artforms.
