everyone on acend played cs at some point, starxo and cned are faceit level 10, zeek has a bunch of cs clips in his yt channel
aspas was a gc demon iirc, pancada played cf, rest idk
pitchfork [#25]mako? buzz?
(im not really sure about mako background tho)
buzz played cs, not sure abt mako tho
I_SELL_ORGANS [#21]everyone on acend played cs at some point, starxo and cned are faceit level 10, zeek has a bunch of cs clips in his yt channel

Playing cs doesn't mean they were professional players, legit everyone played cs in their youth lmao. It was the only tac fps worth playing
Nullangel [#10]aspas did play cs but i dont think it was in the competitive scene
pancada was a crossfire pro
Was Pancada good? Or like an average pro?

I’m sure they have all played Clash Royale on their phones too and that doesn’t mean they come from Clash Royal if you get what I mean

Sacy started in CS Source. Saadhak tried a spot on Csgo major in 2018~19
Nullangel [#10]aspas did play cs but i dont think it was in the competitive scene
pancada was a crossfire pro
He was. He played for g3x (Gaules org)
I_am_from_the_future [#24]Nats played pro cs
People used tj think nats cheat in esea but unfortunately cis was filled with bunch of players and no org wanted to make roster change so man didnt get a chance

So basically their skill developed in CS?
Marshal_D_Teach [#36]So basically their skill developed in CS?

Mortadelo [#39]If their skill developed in CS why were they all ass
wdym because there are better people than them?
Mortadelo [#31]Was Pancada good? Or like an average pro?
He was really good... he managed to get 2nd place and a top 4 in the 2 majors he played
the one he finished 2nd, he lost the final to the dgzin, mazin and mNdS team (dgzin and mazin are in FURIA and mNdS are in Tropicaos - Playing Challengers BR to get to Ascension)

That’s really cool ty
Marshal_D_Teach [#41]wdym because there are better people than them?
But there’s not people better than them here. So you’re either suggesting that any CS pro would be World Champion in Valorant or that they’re skill was not just acquired in Cs
Mortadelo [#32]I’m sure they have all played Clash Royale on their phones too and that doesn’t mean they come from Clash Royal if you get what I mean
I bet they got their skills playing snakes when they were 5
Mortadelo [#45]But there’s not people better than them here. So you’re either suggesting that any CS pro would be World Champion in Valorant or that they’re skill was not just acquired in Cs
Idk, bro. Most of International valo champions came from csgo
Sen Team (-Zombs)
Gambit: Nats and Redgar
Acend had Bonecold and Kiles (Cned also were an FPL player which is a semi-pro circuit)
Entire Optic team (Most dominant Valorant Team Ever)
FPX: Shao, Ardiis, ANGE1
LOUD: Aspas and Sacy (CS:Source) + Saadhak tried to qualify for 3 CSGO Majors
valulrantefanboy [#6]Mwzera , cned=zula gods. Chronicle played diff games (r6, cs etc and said that he dont like cs)
Based chronicle
avepalto [#55]from what game is he?
literally nothing, valo is his very pro first game. he played cs and was a silver or something, mostly with his friends. some fighting games with his friends. valorant its the first game he got good at, started pisslow silver as well.

wow, just wow. Some people are really gifted
avepalto [#60]wow, just wow. Some people are really gifted
I think in a few years this will be the main direction. less washed up cs outcasts, more people who play valo as their first game.

wow. you're completely wrong lmfao. first of all, zekken hit LE in csgo, and he was also faceit lvl 10. second, placements were very fucked in beta. he was immo 3 in ep 1 act 1 but yes he did place silver in the beta.
theres some people claiming some people didn't start with cs, so i just wanna clarify some of those names.
Zyppan, zekken, aspas, Sayaplayer, and nAts all played cs:go. not all of them were pro/semi-pro tho. these guys all reached the highest rank on third-party services like faceit/esea tho.
edit: ill add more to the list whenever i see someone mention a wrong name
Shao
Jinggg
Itsover [#66]Shao is a warface champ, he didn't come from cs
wrong wrong wrong. why does everyone keep being wrong. his last game might not be CS but Shao literally has an hltv profile
Mortadelo [#32]I’m sure they have all played Clash Royale on their phones too and that doesn’t mean they come from Clash Royal if you get what I mean
ok but if you are literally the highest rank on faceit, practically right below semi-pro (basically radiant/high immo 3 equivalent), then are you not from csgo?
gamr [#64]wow. you're completely wrong lmfao. first of all, zekken hit LE in csgo, and he was also faceit lvl 10. second, placements were very fucked in beta. he was immo 3 in ep 1 act 1 but yes he did place silver in the beta.
zeken has literally said he barely spent any time in csgo and the timed he did spent was just casual fun
meteorite [#73]zeken has literally said he barely spent any time in csgo and the timed he did spent was just casual fun
Do you want me to prove that he was faceit lvl 10 or will you just take my word for it
gamr [#74]Do you want me to prove that he was faceit lvl 10 or will you just take my word for it
unless a player was playing professionally in cs and was getting paid as a t2 or t3 pro their time spent in cs is as good as my time spent on clash of clans
meteorite [#77]unless a player was playing professionally in cs and was getting paid as a t2 or t3 pro their time spent in cs is as good as my time spent on clash of clans
Ok so you’re just stupid.
quiet_turtle [#72]I think Suygetsu was casual Osu player, idk if he played CS tho, still lack information about him.
Yea he played CS, he is faceit lvl 10, same as zyppan.
gamr [#79]Ok so you’re just stupid.
gamr when he finds out people play games casually (he can't believe it)
meteorite [#81]gamr when he finds out people play games casually (he can't believe it)
There’s a difference between being a casual low elo bot and being a radiant or faceit lvl 10 that hasn’t gone professional. Being a faceit lvl 10 gives you all the mechanics you need to go pro in Valorant. At that point, it’s just game sense and understanding of the game. It’s significantly different than transferring from a game and needing to learn the spray patterns, movement, etc.
quiet_turtle [#78]What game he used to play?
with his age i guess he played fortnite but im not sure actually

Fun fact: SkRossi was the National Champion from India while his IGL Ayrin was the World Champion.

it gives you an advantage as the game has similar fundamentals.crossfire is also a similar fps game which is where pancada came from and a lot of chinese/korean pros that are switching to valorant.being good at any tac fps before valorant will help in being good at valorant.but being tier 1 in csgo =/= tier 1 in valo other wise ethan would be a top 5 players in americas
WinterZ [#94]he started in val im p sure
i dont really know, if he started on val im impressed to be honest, same with al0rante, sadly he didnt make it tier 1 but valorant was his first shooter and is pretty good imo

I feel like cs scene in some regions were super unhealthy. Like some ppl never got a fair shot at tier 1.
