imo real sports is boring to watch, the sports animes only keep the interesting and fun parts in, which is why sports anime is more fun than watching actual sports for me.

As someone who has read both csm and blue lock manga for a very long time I may be biased but I def think you should give blue lock another chance once all the episodes are out, I think it’s a lot more suited to binging as opposed to a episode per week kind of watch. Also genuinely curious why you put maid war that high, I personally don’t think very highly of it but I want to understand your reasoning.

I think it's easily the funniest show in awhile. Obviously I love the Quentin Tarantino esque direction and action. It's not as dense as a Tarantino film obviously but the self-aware/ironic comedic style is something I've always wanted in a show. Also the tokyo/akhibara nightlife setting is dope and they match the aesthetic perfectly.

that rule isnt even fair, an anime can have 11 good episodes and then ruin it all by the end, or have 200 mid episodes to start like one piece and then it becomes great the next 800 of them

Super late reply but I never specifically stated blue lock had some sort of 10/10 story. It’s just very fun and over the top. Not every anime has to be perfect, that’s what lets you appreciate the really good ones that much more.
