I don't know why whenever someone mentions icy, they immediately assume it's an insult? Icy was more of a team player duelist, like Victor on optic. They frag less but they do their job at entrying. Ardiis was that kind of duelist but he always did better on initiator agents in general like kayo. I never said he was bad. This is more of a reply to all those who think I was saying something rude about ardiis.

He was like icy for G2 when he was on navi but a bit more clouted. He was better on kayo than jett on that roster imo.

I played my placements playing my normal agents like omen and breach. After getting placed, I tried clove out and top fragged match MVP 5 games in a row. It was insane. I don't even think that my aim is that good, I was just very confident on clove.

The trend is champs 2nd place and champs winners completely flop or roster crumbles. 2021: acend flop, gambit crumbled due to Russia. 2022: LOUD roster not retained, optic disband. 2023: EG fell apart, FNC fell off compared to their performance from the year before, 2024: both TH and EDG retained their rosters but I predict they miss out on 2 of the three international events for this year, which would be considered a flop for them

i would switch VIT and FNC but thats it. the teams look like they are in the right position based on offseason and limited scrims that i have seen.

the action is very good but like others have said (albeit a bit more disrespectfully), it is quite basic and generic. if its a first anime or something, i would say go ahead and watch it. its quite fun to watch (i personally read the LN and the manwha a while back), but if you have watched a lot of other stuff, it can be quite boring. i love the idea and the pacing of the story, so i would recommend it.

DRX. i have never changed since 2021 except for a brief 2 week stint to VIT when trexx's visa got approved. i will not switch anymore.

its true though! i have supported DRX for so long that im now at the point where im that annoying guy who only criticizes the team for their failures while still wishing for the team to do well in secret. just because i said they are chokeRX, doesnt mean i dont want them to win. on the contrary, i would rather not be disappointed when they lose. i still will be if they do lose, but at least it wont feel as bad than if i actually said they were going to win.

its not about mechanics. its also about util usage. you are not measuring the player by the value they provide for the team, which is so important as an initiator player.

i can explain some of them... flashback should be self explanatory, outclassing even mako last year. invy has hard carried TS since he joined and he is insane with kayo. kr1stal is very good fade and sova as well. freeing over yoman i disagree with because he only started playing initiator recently, he used to play sentinel iirc before joining DRX. beyn used to be scan initiator but now freeing is taking that role because athan played flash ini for DRX. but beyn did play scan so maybe he counts for that. jitboys is so much better than sylvan, he is incredible. he frags more and is way more consistent in his performance.

I disagree. I don't play these agents because I think ranked is about enjoying the game how I like to play it, but people can play whatever they want as long as they do fine. I used to hate instalockers* but I've come to accept them because I hate playing duelist.
