I didn’t mean to reply to u… my phone screen just broke so my ish is bugged so it clicks wherever… meant to reply to the overall thread
That’s why hltv removed the age restriction on the rookie of the year award… Nertz(24) who won last year had only 11 matches against top 20 opposition b4 joining endpoint in 2023 even though he has hltv games from 2017… he also had military service(Isreal) before he focused on cs full time
I didn’t see anything there that’s deep…seems like sm1 just having fun… I mean they have prolly achieved the goal they set at the start of the year…. Maybe it was a masters event qualification and now they are playing with house money
If they wanted more viewers, clashing with the euros doesn’t make sense… fine imma stream the footie on my tv with no sound and have the val on my iPad on a headset but most of my homies are gonna watch the game and sack val… L move from riot
summary: valorant needs third party events and ideally those events should mean something prizepool wise or riot eco system wise so that the teams will actually care about it else till the franchised league has a substantial amount of teams involved it will be the same thing over and over
Cs doesn’t have a format per se… teams do their best to be at the creme de la crème of events aka majors(x2 a year), cologne, Katowice…
After that Pro league is a chill out type sitch over a couple of weeks, esl partners get invited then the rest of the spots are split to other smaller tourneys and they runners up as well as esl ranking.
Blast also run their stuff on the side but in a more convoluted way that lead to spring, fall and world finals
Iem/ esl dallas, Chengdu etc are invites and qualifier based that teams can decline to take a break etc
Esl also run tier 2 leagues across all the regions…
There’s the weplay, res regionals…. Basically a tonne of tier 2-3 tourneys to let those guys showcase their stuff as well as the t1 teams can use to get back into a groove after a break etc
Saadhak might also play raze…. Play her like he did in lock in just to take space and talent the others trade him
This whole ish reminds of the track athlete who sent for… I don’t remember specifics but in general about nba champs calling themselves world champs… same vibes
Blud is high on something light
Click the profiles for more info on aliases or past aliases if you’re unsure
Format fudged into dropped… sticky one
To rank up play what u want, it’s ranked no1 is perfectly executing on u
Something is an op crutch on every agent but he still plays well
His general util is fine but the ult is way to easy to get considering the value
The only change since 2021 is cadians heroic and aggressive defences… before people just sat and did f all on ct side now they all wanna get info 30 days before the execute
Fns will do tarik level numbers when Tarik isn’t streaming… he’s also catering to different audiences by also streaming the other regions
Basic=okocha
Kramarick= the bull
Vini= kanu
Lkashi = babayaro
Lszin = Taribo west
Fracture
Ascent
Haven
Split
Breeze
Icebox
Pearl
Lotus
Sunset
True but u have to give yourself the best odds possible
Factual however also the first bans from both teams are the best jett maps… u have one of the best Jetts in the world and u pick a raze / neon or no due list map and fall into their trap and play another raze map
Their lotus was horrible… even ranked mixes have put more util to prevent the t side from taking rubble… icebox started all right then they just shut down… I’d have preferred they just a exec’d the entire half
Fnatic will still get to Shanghai… diff is they ain’t gonna be dominant
What shroud say that made him send for him…. Just wanna know for context and like sm1 said earlier shroud doesn’t give an f
Rain ain’t a gekko or fade or sova… he’s literally perma entry on t side beside Karrigan
Ropz is viper/ omen
Broky is chamber
Karrigan is clove or raze
Rain is jett
Frozen is sova or kayo… he will entry if rain is dead or is in a position to take a timing
Considering they could’ve picked up a tonne of sh*ters, having Oderus play isn’t bad
Not an individual tourney per se in the traditional sense… more like a race but I just explained what it is… also 1 million dollars is a lot
If u win 4 tourneys hosted by esl or iem u win 1 million dollars….
U have to win the 4 within 10 tries… it must include a masters aka Katowice or cologne or a major hosted by esl faceit group and the other 3 can be smaller events hosted by them also
If u lose the final of your 4th event that winner gets 100k as a giant killer bonus… u also have to keep a 3 man team core across all wins for it to count… Astralis, liquid, Navi and faze are the only teams to win it with liquid being the fastest in less than 70 days
It’s cs agent skins exist but they inherently have some advantages on some maps and while they are legal at majors teams kinda have a general GA against them… crosshair wise; there are some pros who use yellow( I also use yellow btw) or like a colour that blends into the map which makes for poor visibility so default is used for broadcast; sometimes mid round or during a clutch it gets turned off and u see the actual players crosshair
CS is about perfection and so is valorant… u play your default or run a site exec; val looks different maybe cuz the flashes are different from agent to agent or smokes are purple or brown otherwise still a default…
Riot literally nerf crowd audio; not saying there aren’t weird cs fans but in comparison to valorant you won’t see riot put a suspect sign up on the main broadcast… they actively dodge stuff like that… vuvuzelas and drumming is kinda a vitality thing; most teams don’t have fans that push it that far
Like i said earlier cs is part of danish culture and travelling across from a different country is not hard so the noise level does checkout
It’s CS anything is possible… Karrigan isn’t a bad aimer it’s just as an igl u don’t look at ur crosshair a lot in comparison to donk; Karrigan used to be a main Awper and there’s always 1 or 2 games a tourney where he goes off
Esports are thought in danish schools… you can learn cs and valorant in danish schools…
U don’t go to watch a Tarik watch party for chat… especially with nearly 250k people in there
Riot doesn’t consider tdm a warmup game mode… if they did abilities won’t be in… it’s just a casual game mode nothing more or less… making a separate no ability tdm however would be more likely
Prx playstyle is dependent on individuals fragging out in obscene situations n that can happen anytime… u can’t anti strat that
Nah surely they move yay to jett/ chamber roles and adjust the others
Afcon is a joke till quarters… it’s scrap housery to the max… even teams that can play ball lose all composure and technique; case and point Ghana
I on disagree with the son take… kang in Lee is more demon1… son is/was already established… Lee broke out last season, most people only know his name from his thunderstruck sbc in ea fc 24
+1 kj is very good cuz her turret can take contact n u swing of it... the only defining factor to use the op well is positioning... get out of jail cards are only useful for plays that are outlandish
Jett/chamber
Tarik,
