It feels like every 2 months, there's a Major or tourney.
im not complaining i like watching both val and cs so i dont have to wait 10 years for val offseason to finish
any of those events organizers companies can "make" a major, but who decides it is valve. so now, valve chose pgl to be the major organizer, the last one in paris was blast, and so on
it was to give china more time to integrate their vct league its not pointless, and its gonna be shorter for the next seasons anyways
2 Majors + Kato and Cologne + Blast is 5 big ones a year, 4 if you take out Blast, so its pretty similar to Valorant with 3, they just dont have the retarded offseason, and teams play smaller tournaments to improve and stay sharp, if valorant would have more smaller tournamets the level of play would be so much better
If u win 4 tourneys hosted by esl or iem u win 1 million dollars….
U have to win the 4 within 10 tries… it must include a masters aka Katowice or cologne or a major hosted by esl faceit group and the other 3 can be smaller events hosted by them also
If u lose the final of your 4th event that winner gets 100k as a giant killer bonus… u also have to keep a 3 man team core across all wins for it to count… Astralis, liquid, Navi and faze are the only teams to win it with liquid being the fastest in less than 70 days
Not an individual tourney per se in the traditional sense… more like a race but I just explained what it is… also 1 million dollars is a lot
2 majors a year. Big tournaments are not offical valve majors. There are organizers who host own events.
