It doesnt matter how much a coach cooks up, how deep his stratbook is or how in depth his analysis of the rival team is.
if the IGL or Caller do not understand the coach, or do not know how to apply such tactics. the team WILL fail.
Look at fRod and Potter, undeniably good coaches, great stratbooks, but the igls arent panning out
