if there were 10 na team's I'd be ok with him getting another shot at t1 but he's not even doing that well in t2, in a region that has so much duelist/flex talent he hasn't shown anything special in too long
I'm a fan of basically any team involving any part of the 2023 eg roster/coaching staff but even I didn't like 2024 nrg, probably because I generally hate teams that rely mostly on individual firepower to win when the coolest part of valo to me is the util combos and macro

their fracture didn't get worse though it just got banned, that's not regressing especially if allows you to dominate pick/bans since every opponent will first ban your best map instead of their worst. Having a deeper map pool makes you a better tactical team. Just look at 100t bind, that map was basically eg fracture tier but they had no other maps even close so after people started banning it they got exposed for not actually being that good overall. they did not regress at champs their lotus with demon1 on astra and pearl with the yoru got so much better from tokyo. At champs they had the 2nd best map pool ever after geng at shanghai imo. Fnc lotus got antistratted by loud which is not a regression just getting figured out and as for prx they were literally playing with a sub in tokyo and got 3rd so unless you're saying cgrs>something it's an argument for the level at tokyo being lower not higher

worst player on 2023 eg in champs was definitely not ethan he was very clutch and consistent, if not for grand finals it would've been jawg but i think it was boostio considering he was basically the reason they lost upper finals (i know he was the igl but he was touted as a fragging igl and went -11 on a 13-15 pearl)
because even if you aren't brawk level good at it you still have to change how you play maps just to get around it. Old ascent was like this, lotus and corrode are still like this where even a bum like boaster holding m1 from tree on defence can just win a round on his own
