100T were never good, biggest fraud team in the world. Any team with Asuna will fail.

posted 7 months ago

well even so geng played every single match this year and 100T didn’t even qual for madrid and skipped groups in shanghai

posted 7 months ago

not rly bc geng played the most game in the world and still won and is still doing good

posted 7 months ago

Am i the only person who kinda just knew from the start 100T weren’t anything crazy or international winning even at their “peak”? Like yeah they won americas, but they were never incredible, it was just usually a Cryo 30K or asuna playing a life game.

edit: their cracks have beeen showing crazy during split 2

Coach: Potter
Duelist: Aspas
Initiator: Ken Carson
Sentinel: Alfajer
Flex: Nayeon
IGL: Hanni

If GenG win champs I think they will be the only team ever to remain insane after winning and not become washed. (if u wanna count loud sure, but they had 2 new players and were only really really good regionally)

posted 7 months ago

for AMERICAS, no doubt

Verno
Redux
Skuba
Mitch
Mada
Zeldris
off the top of my head

but Verno and Reduxx are the top 2 definitely.

thanks for your input and i absolutely agree, but i think ethan > munchkin if we’re going initiator /support role. prime ethan is the best support / flash player of all time

posted 7 months ago

2020- Mongraal/Tayson/TenZ
2021- Bugha/Tayson/nAts
2022- Mero/Merstach/yay/aspas
2023- Bugha/Mero/demon1/leo/alfa
2024- Peterbot/texture/wo0t

posted 7 months ago

that’s why i said prime EG. also those two aren’t playing at their best because of the way they’re set up. Demon1 is a secondary duelist who needs a lot of support behind him. c0m is a great lurker and clutch player, but he’s doing. a lot of calling w kingg if not more. Ethan C0M and Demon1 were all in the role slump

How would prime 2023 Champs EG play against 2024 GenG, TH, or SEN

posted 7 months ago

4 main reasons

Boaster has bronze aim
sentinels value and impact has dropped
derke became an average immortal player for a while
skye got nerfed

posted 7 months ago

i think c0m can make a comeback. he’s kinda like demon1 where he’s not able to play like himself. He’s doing. a lot of calling despite not being the igl.

posted 7 months ago

i like what they're doing, but hopefully it works out. i hope my goat mako doesnt fall off

posted 7 months ago

sadly mwzera clears

posted 7 months ago

My personal favorites are N4rrate, verno, jawgemo, and ethan

posted 7 months ago

jawgemo clears these frauds

posted 7 months ago

they gotta get forsaken off of "igl" and "support/initiator". They got my king going negative consistently. we need prime forsaken to come back, he is the goat

posted 7 months ago

jawgemo has a bigger agent pool? obv he doesnt play omen and stuff anymore, but he plays jett raze neon iso omen and deadlock.

miniboo only plays jett raze neon yoru and kayo

posted 7 months ago

i love texture so much, but that guy is so inconsistent? like when he is heated and plays insane I think hes on par w aspas, but he goes negative literally more than half the game unless he turns up.

posted 7 months ago

Karon can be inconsistent, but he for sure is a top 3 controller in the world right now.

posted 7 months ago

who would you say is the best duelist then

posted 7 months ago

i mean we've all seen him play when he dominates, that guy is Thano's thanos

posted 7 months ago

hot take, maybe besides meteor or munchkin, nobody on GenG is the best player of each role. They're just really good as a team and have great coaching, plays, and everything else.

posted 7 months ago

Do you guys still consider him the best duelist? I feel like players like Wo0t have caught up to him mechanically, jawgemo with movement, and etc. We obviously know Aspas is insane and is the best, but its been so long since we've seen an aspas domination because of how shitty lev is.

posted 7 months ago

depends on if you have aimers on your team already or not. aspas is the better player overall prob, but jawgemo easily is the better duelist.

posted 7 months ago

i agree w geng, but sacy and zellsis dont have top tier aim

posted 7 months ago

n4rrate marteen shin tomaszy alone are some of EU's top aimers?

posted 7 months ago

Is TH the team with the most firepower throughout the entire roster currently? If not, which team do you think is better. The next best team I can think of is KC

posted 7 months ago

i truly love NRG i really do, but you can’t lie EG has a chance of beating current NRG

Jawg > Victor
Nature < Fns but nature is a better well rounded player
Derrek = crashies both kinda trash recently but derrek has more potential bc of his mechanics
Apoth > FNS sentinel
Supamen < s0m but we know supamen can beat up and become thanos
potter > chet
and you really can’t deny these statistics, but we will see

posted 7 months ago

its on PC now and its better than ever if you want to actually play to get good.

posted 7 months ago

does anyone else use PixelGun 3d on pc to warm up for val. That game is so heavily underrated aiming wise, ppl flying in the air with rockets 3 cat spamming, and you have to track ALL of that in a split second.

posted 7 months ago

i think a plat player couldve gotten more kills just by purely using their mechanics

posted 7 months ago

EG wins champs trust. You put little faith into Potter Jawg and Apoth. these three alone could take over the world.

posted 7 months ago

they wouldve still done good towards the end of the season. no doubt demon1 was the sole reason, but you cant forget how good the other players were by the end of champs. jawgemo was best raze player, and flex player, c0m was the best scan inititiaor with his godsent lurks and timings, ethan was just the goat, and boosty was a solid igl who did his role properly.

posted 7 months ago

ascendant? might as well play premier

jokes aside discord and battlefy are prob your best options

posted 7 months ago

With Redgar going 8/37 surely my VLR thread has some value to it.
In no situation should an IGL go 8/37 in TWO maps even if they are "master classing". You could use a classic only for two maps and get more kills than that.

posted 7 months ago

EG would stomp current Fnatic. apoth is thanos, supamen can be really good when he plays well like rly rly good, and nature is a solid individual.

posted 7 months ago

i did not know that sliggy said this, thank you it was very helpful

posted 7 months ago

thanks sm for your input and yes i agree. boostio :( im still stuck on his tokyo performance when his aim was rly good.

posted 7 months ago

thank you

posted 7 months ago

thank you for your input have a great day

posted 7 months ago

in 2024 igls need to be able to have top tier aim or the team won’t perform based off of observations in 2024.

posted 7 months ago

Hi guys, this is a complete re write and posting this during a non America’s time because Americas VLR users are a little challenged. But recently I watched this video about Curry talking about how pro players should not have low K / D’s (essentially aim). And he went on to talk about IGL’s specifically.

The Video: Video

Here is my take. I understand aiming isn’t everything in a game like Valorant and Brain > Aim almost always. But recently, more specifically in 2024 I’ve been noticing pattern that may or may not have a correlation with aim.

Think about which teams are doing good in 2024. Ex:GENG, SEN, TH, 100T, G2, (prx if u want to count forsaken as igl). Do you guys notice something with these teams? They have all been in a grand final this year either regionally or internationally. But this isn’t my main point, my main point is centered around the IGL’s. Munchkin, JohnQT, Boo, Boostio, Valyn, and f0rsakeN. Do you notice a pattern amongst these IGLs? They all have insane aim and are doing great compared to the rest of the franchising teams and it’s by a mile.

Now think about some teams/igls that aren’t doing so good that were once considered good. Ex: Boaster, Redgar, Vanity, FNS (too early to call NRG bad, but he does have bad aim). These are all IGL’s who have (“bad aim”) and have either won an international event or have high prestige, but are all doing exceptionally bad in 2024 compared to old iterations of them. I understand that one player having bad aim won’t decide if the team wins or loses, but this is just a pattern that I realized in 2024. Whether this is true to a truly micro level, we don’t know, but it is true that teams that are doing good, have IGL’s who can aim.

I think Valorant is at a state where mechanics aim wise can’t get significantly better than it is right now with players like Demon1, Aspas, Wo0t, etc you get my point. And yes strategies, calling, and stuff like that is so much more valuable, but in moments where it is a 2v3, 2v4, 1v2, etc which happens more than you think, aim is crucial. I keep seeing moments where a team has actually a fair chance to win clutch scenarios, but absolutely bomb it because of their below average aim in T1. I think Valorant is in a state where everyone has to be shooting back, all 5 players not just your duelist and sentinel. The game has evolved, and a simple FNS masterclass or DRX textbook style gameplay won’t slide.

This is just my take on the video and pattern I observed. Feel free to discuss or counter argue with my opinion. Thank you guys for reading.
