hmmm... I think you're onto something here. A distant relative? A clone? Only they know, I guess.
a lot of SEA players can speak English at a passable level. MY/SG, PH players are fluent in English.
yes. I am saying that is stupid. SEA should have a VCT for the whole region just like EU - it makes way more sense. The language argument makes no sense either because EU teams also speak different languages - French, Spanish, Russian etc.
Patiphan (2nd duelist like Reyna, Raze)
Jingg (jett 1trick)
Forsaken (sova edition)
PTC
X10 igl
compete in Thai circuit
I hate that this is a rule btw, it's so stupid. It doesn't exist in EU either.
i don't think this team is legal, you need 3 players from one nation in SEA. forsaken- ID benkai - MY/SG, Borkum Wits - PH, and sushiboys - Thai
#Subrossi #TSM #TSM2022 #TSMWIN
Regions (as a whole, not just their best team):
EMEA - Incredible depth, upwards trend in international performances, big player base, and finally varied playstyles. Everything needed to maintain the momentum.
SEA - Massive playerbase, even larger if South Asia is included. Extreme diversity in playstyle - from the overly strategic Paper Rex to the balls to wall, uninhibited, classic SG server agression of X10. The region has yet to achieve a podium finish in true international competition, but there's a real chance they do that now. In APAC, they are likely the best, from the LCQ, and international play displayed so far. Upwards trend, too.
NA - Manages third due to previous performance, depth, playerbase and so far unrivalled investment. NA organizations have shown that they will and can drop the bag to assemble teams to compete in international play (TenZ buyout, Nitr0, etc.). Despite being on a downwards trajectory, it's unlikely the teams ever become truly uncompetitive.
Brazil - Massive amounts of unrealized talent. Large playerbase. The problem here is the lack of investment. Give me a true Brazilian superteam for fucks sake. NIP pls. Imagine: Sacy, Mwzera, Heat + 2 support. With that much individual skill, it's just sad it's not being used well. Below NA, due to a lack of achievements on the international stage.
LATAM - Great players. Lots of talent, and investment to back it up. It seems to be very top heavy though, but that may be in large part caused by my lack of knowledge of the region. Australs, KRU, Lazer if it still exists, and others look strong.
Japan - Big playerbase, investment. Talent is yet to be seen, but some players (Laz, Neth) look strong. To improve, they need to grow domestic talent and stopping importing from KR
KR - Abundance of talent. Not only this, the talent in question has even been displayed at an international level - Masters 2. Lack of investment, playerbase. The problem with this region, and why I'm placing it below JP, is that all the good players will be playing in JP either way, except VS's players.
Yeah. If there's any problem with Chinese esports, it's how insulated it is. It's often very difficult to be a fan of the teams and players without actually being in China, or being fluent in Chinese. They have no need for a western audience, after all.
Not a fan of the Mixwell jett personally. Nukkye will likely be the star player. Meddo is a great pick-up, consistently gets impact on Cypher. I'm not very familiar with Hoody, who will probably IGL?
I feel the same way about this G2 roster that I did the other time it blew up - not very excited. There's nothing that seems like it will push them to first-place finishes. But, who knows. I'm never going to speak in absolutes when it comes to Valorant; not after the group stage matches that I've witnessed.
There's a chance that G2 is attempting to save money and get a roster just good enough to get invited to the rumored 2023 franchised league set up, evidenced by the regional leagues that are likely to be present throughout 2022.
for those who don't know, there are frequently Chinese players playing on 60+ ping and packet loss with VPN on the SEA ranked leaderboards.
The game is announced but yet to be officially released in China. I can't really provide much information regarding their perception of the game, but Boaster's Chinese singing (lmao) was trending a while after iceland. There are a lot of comments about the 1M viewership, a lot of stuff comparing it to CS, and stuff comparing it to OW on bilibili during the announcement.
China's playerbase, approach, and investment makes it a perfect region for basically any esport it takes seriously.
A suggestion: if possible add a view count for every team / player page! It would be very cool to see which players get checked the most.
I suspect the average round difference in Champions group stage so far is much lower than in Berlin. I think this because the tournament has been outlandishly competitive so far.
If there are any stats nerds on here who know how to calculate this stat fast, please help me verify this.
I made a post where I said SEA and LATAM teams did not perform. I was an idiot.
#SEAPRIDE
As for JP - it looks like Zeta is assembling an all-Japanese superteam. I think the play for Japan as a region is to pick up younger, newer players whose first FPS is Valorant. Japan should have an abundance of these players as a result of the popularity of the game in the region.
They need to stop importing Korean players if they cannot speak Japanese, but this seems difficult as it works as an easy method for organizations to stay ahead domestically.
One does not "post" a shitpost. One "shits" a shitpost.
Indeed, I did shart out this post
This is a shitpost
A what post?
A shitpost. One that comes out of your ass. One that you flush down the toilet. One that you pay no attention to.
My bad for missing Ethan. I've added to the original post. Thanks for pointing out my mistake!
Diagnosed using state-of-the-art medical technology installed only at the 100T compound, made possible by hoodie sales.
Because their horrific work environment forces now senior citizen world war veterans (example: Hiko) into working long hours and getting publicly humiliated in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
There's no other sensible reason. Weird fetish, but I suppose that's out of his control.
Why do people like 100T? The only charismatic player on that roster is Asuna, who is also a weeb and therefore commits war crimes. Hiko is set to die of old age within half a year (at best). Nitr0 is going back to CS because he likes anal sex courtesy of Europe. Steel got relegated to T1 for scoring a 3 on his IQ test. Boi is literally an analyst. Why do people like 100T? Please enlighten me.
Even TSM has more charisma, like Subrossi, India's best player.
Update: It has come to my attention that I have forgotten Ethan. But, can you blame me? 100T Edward is the most forgettable player. Can you remember a single 100T Evan play?
Even when Japan loses, Japan wins. #SushiBoyVictoryRoyale
Sushi boys will beat Envy esport. Sussy boy Crow will use all power energy to shoot idiot envy player like yay in head. because RiTO will nerf jett hand before match, jett cannot hold operator bnecause she weak ass bich. thn, marved will get arrest by ESIC for stealing TenZ gf . One perfect pick'em remains.
The predictions for the remaining matches from his pick'em:
Envy beat X10
Vikings beat Secret
VLR's last hope
EDIT:
Link to Lioneski's pick'em https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/868bbb48
my bad, lmfao
My guess was 845,674 from the other post.
EDIT: Sen vs KRU, not Furia.
Here you can see a desperate coping Brazilian fan attempting to cover up the genuine greatest comeback (Gambit vs Vikings) this tournament.
actually, the Sen upset against KRU makes it even better than the LCQ.
I think, after the last three series, it is comparable.
AYAYA
(it focused mostly on Apex, but mentioned Valorant in passing)
It ended later than 7:00 AM in Japan, lmfao. Somehow, there were still like 50k japanese viewers. It's incredible how much that region likes Valorant.
ty frockfrog. Now I know why Hiko is so old. My new question is:
Why is Hiko so bad?
Higher than I'd expect, but still possible.
I agree that this tournament is ridiculous. Almost every match was fun to watch, even when it's a stomp sometimes.
Predict the exact number! That's the point of this post
mobile games have a magnitude larger audience and player base, and they've had it for years now. It's pretty natural that they would then get the most viewers, especially after mobile esports took off with player unknowns, and mobile legends.
I think they fucked the API with the new update, it updates late. That and it doesn't account for those who start co-streams late. Happened with Sen v Furia too, said 728k at the start but it is now 766k.
I hope nobody unironically cares about viewership, this is just for fun. It's nice to have validation, too.
Since escharts is currently out of date, predict the exact real peak view number (FOR SEN vs KRU) that will appear when it is updated in the coming hours:
I think it's 845,674.
EDIT: If anyone actually predicts the number right I will switch my flair to TSM and flag to the Virgin Islands
Yes, I can see that. But why does that make him so old?
I suppose it's an unsolved question. How mysterious.
