Acend's Breeze isn't too bad tho, but I agree with Fracture.

posted about 2 years ago

Fracture has always been bad map for Acend so this isn't too surprising.

FPX more consistent than PRX IMO when taking the strength of the regions into consideration. They won EMEA stage 1, would have done well in Masters 1 100%, came 2nd in EMEA stage 2 and won Masters 2.

google it:
The Dunning-Kruger effect effect occurs when a person's lack of knowledge and skills in a certain area cause them to overestimate their own competence. By contrast, this effect also causes those who excel in a given area to think the task is simple for everyone, and underestimate their relative abilities as well.

I'm big OGLU believer but for some reason I picked G2 as well... feels bad that I let OGLU down. Maybe I had too much hope for G2 while not being that impressed by latest games of OGLU.

😁👍

OGLU isn't bad team that is the thing. People like to shit on teams like them because they are pretty unknown and don't have massive clout. If they had a lot of clout this site would be full of posts and delusional fans talking how good and improved they look. G2 isn't looking good I agree, but my point is just the difference between how people see these games and teams just because of brands. That was my point. The amount of random posts I saw yesterday praising the smallest things was really high.

posted about 2 years ago

If this was NA and teams like Sentinels or 100T or something like that there would have been tens of posts talking about how good they look lol. Just see yesterday when people were praising teams for smallest stuff. Only difference is the org and player names.

posted about 2 years ago

Molsi is really good when on good form. Pretty flexible as well can play good Raze and Sova etc.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I believe in OGLU it just feels that they have really good games, but at the same time get fked on some games. Really hope to see more consistency this LCQ.

posted about 2 years ago

We just have to see how they will do on Ascent. They have always been good on Haven, but they need to start performing on other maps as well on consistent level.

posted about 2 years ago

G2 is playing pretty bad, but don't underrate OGLU. They have deserved their spot in LCQ.

posted about 2 years ago

Possible. People always sleeping on OGLU. If G2 doesn't play really well it could very well go to OGLU.

posted about 2 years ago

Support all those teams. People always pick 1 team, but just support who is playing the best because those teams push the limit. Storyline wise all these 3 are in pretty similar spot of being good/potentially good with 1 player change.

Its quite common in esport for talent to jump between games especially if they are good at what they are doing. For example Ender jumps between Valorant and LoL. Sjokz between LoL and CSGO and also had segment in Valorant etc.

because they don't understand why he is tweeting simple people

posted about 2 years ago

Victor is only good on entry against teams that don't know how to counter it. Zellsis is actually good.

posted about 2 years ago

He just couldn't keep up like expected.

posted about 2 years ago

People don't understand that likely only reason people like ANGE1 started tweeting about NA is because its easy way to farm interactions. They just won Masters so now its perfect time for them to do this when people are interested in their takes. Like that "100T is actually good team" that someone even posted here. We saw same with some Acend players after Champions.

This is no hate for these guys and there's nothing wrong about that.

Same, but in a weird way I'm happy for Aleksib. I think we have seen over and over again that G2 is hell for IGLs. It just never works out. He is just 25 year old IGL so I think he will have good future in different teaam.

Sentinels ofc

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I remember them playing KayO comp or something like that, but tbf G2 likely wasn't used to playing against that comp and adjusted

posted about 2 years ago

I understand your point, but so far no one has really managed to antistrat it. If I'm not wrong FPX did well against G2, but outside of that both G2 and Fnatic have been really dominant on that map and ofc people have tried to antistrat them.

HyperX Cloud II best value, but I would highly highly recommend just getting separate headphones and mic. I for example have combo of Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphones and Rode NT-USB mic or ModMic Uni if I want to use it like headset. Headphones cost around 130 euros, Rode (2nd hand) 80 euros and ModMic Uni cost around 60 euros. You get so much better quality with actual studio headphones than with headsets that are overpriced for the quality. If you have proper mic that is also much better for quality, even ModMic beats most headset mics.

I rarely travel, but first that came to mind if I could just teleport with money:

Copenhagen, Denmark (visited when I was kid and didn't like back then, but I have changed and Copenhagen is cool/chill city based on what I've seen)
Toronto, Canada (Canada has always been quite fascinating country to me, because its like mini US, but arguably better but no one really talks about it)
Sydney, Australia (bit same with Canada, fascinating in a similar way, also was in Finding Nemo that was cool movie as kid and seems beautiful)
Soul, South Korea or Tokyo, Japan (both have really different type of culture and seem cool. Soul more for nightlife and Japan more for culture)
Then maybe some European city with nice nightlife like Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague or something like that.

not really hidden gem but watched Ex Machina for first time couple month ago and it was good

posted about 2 years ago

I mean it is arguably the best Icebox comp right now and teams who know how to actually play it are really hard to beat like Fnatic and G2.

No I don't think so. NaVi already have solid roster or at least solid core and I'm pretty sure they don't want to sign new Russian players. And I don't know could NaVi compete against orgs like Rogue if both wanted to buy M3C.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah he said something like and implied that he only watches NA for friends, but doesn't care about the games, but is more interested in EMEA games from strat and competitive point of view. And he also said he could try to bring someone like Boaster or ANGE1 to watch with him.

posted about 2 years ago

True first time watching his costream and its pretty good. He said he might even do EMEA watchparty, so that is cool.

I've seen ads whole year and used to get purple screens that are even worse than ads. Unlucky really, but I don't see as much ads anymore as I used to earlier this year. Maybe Twitch reduced them little bit after some complains.

posted about 2 years ago

I have uBlock origin and Ad Block and in the past have installed other extensions, but nothing works really. Twitch really figured out how to force people to watch adds. Using Chrome, don't remember how it was on Brave tho.

would be insane on paper

posted about 2 years ago

They have a chance if they return to stage 1 playoffs form, but sadly they have looked worse and worse ever since. This team has potential its just that players like Meddo and Avova are inconsistent and quite weak most of the time. And their teamplay looks so disconnected at times.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not saying natank is bad and I agree that he has looked better and better, but I think both H1ber and natank are replaceable on this team and I think you could find better options if you truly want to build tier 1 contender team. While BONECOLD, baddyG and Cender are great picks already.

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like this list is bit biased but could just be me

posted about 2 years ago

yeah definitely I've just been feeling that they are missing that final piece and out of the players it has to be replacement for either H1ber or natank and H1ber is more replaceable IMO. They just need that star impact if that makes sense.

posted about 2 years ago

as someone mentioned I hope Vitality tries to go for someone like Twisten. Knowing that BIG were fine selling him to Guild (if I understood correctly) so rich team like Vitality could really well try to buy him as long as he isn't too expensive. Jugi is good option as well, but he isn't as proven in tier 1 either I feel like.

posted about 2 years ago

I like H1ber obviously, but I was just thinking this same yesterday. I think he is just really inconsistent and isn't that starplayer who will put up good numbers consistently. I feel like experienced team like this could really make good star duelist work and H1ber isn't that atm. Its easier to say than do tho and finding replacement is quite hard. But yeah I think they need replacement if they want to compete in tier 1 IMO.
this is just amateur viewer's take

Machine (and Spunj) is the best esport caster hands down and I also really like Medic from LoL, but in Valorant its likely Bren/Sideshow or Pansy/Hypoc. I just don't like most Valorant casters that much because their styles are just bit boring for me (like Pansy/Hypoc). Not that they are bad, but their style is just more passive and calm and I like more hype commentary myself. Pansy/Hypoc has improved lately tho and they aren't as negative as they used to be before so that is big improvement IMO. Bren/Sideshow is just familiar from OW and they have great synergy and explain the game well. They are also more positive than EMEA counterparts usually so it is more enjoyable to listen to.

Tbh Sideshow/Bren, Pansy/Hypoc, Tombizz/Mitch are all pretty equal. Just negatives that: Sideshow/Bren are good, but get bit repetitive and stale at times. Pansy/Hypoc at least used to be really critical and negative and focused a lot on negatives and it made the teams feel bad also not as high energy. And Tombizz/Mitch are all about whimsiness and that can be cool, but again often makes the level of play feel low because they joke about plays and stuff and sometimes it comes out as negative.

dude I really hope we will see TL vs FPX d00mbros vs his bro on LAN lol would be cool af as long as Liquid looks good*
