I mean G2 was literally EMEA's The Guard in Masters 1. Heavily underperformed.

G2 classic: play well when it doesn't matter -> play like shit when it matters.

EMEA special

yeah I don't really know what was the point of yesterday. NA format is better even tho BO5 lower bracket final is kinda 50/50 for me.

posted about 2 years ago

Same for OGLU/G2 as well. They have to play insta after. Really unlucky formatting.

He seemed bit uncomfortable at times, but that is understandable and outside of that he has done good work. Nice to see that they gave him a chance and good for him opens up more opportunities.

Maybe it was a bait? COPIUM

That tp position was so bad and I dont really understand what was the logic behind it but unlucky. At least he fragged quite hard and in that way redeemed himself of Masters 3 qualifiers.

posted about 2 years ago

just a lot of individual plays and duels. But tbh a lot of these scenarios were quite unordinary in positions so miss plays is bit understandable.

sucks so much that this game has random spray pattern like damn CSGO spraying is so good in comparison

pretty much yes

yeah I think Zescht is better on desk, but ExWarrior (if that is his name) and Zescht seem to be 3rd caster duo and likely saving their main 2 duos for last 2 games today

posted about 2 years ago

When half of M3C is whiffing and Scream is hitting its over. Bit bad look for M3C considering that they are playing their elimination game today as well. Bad day to have off day.

posted about 2 years ago

I guess they are casting because there's 3 games today so they save Tom/Mitch and Hypoc/Pansy for last 2.

nope, and that Opera incident happened like 6 years ago

posted about 2 years ago

PC:
Chrome - main, just used to it so hard to change.
Brave - currently main for alt accounts (don't use those often tho)
Firefox, Edge - also used for other alt accounts but really rarely

Mobile:
Chrome - usually using when searching something, I like the UI
Firefox - my "main" with log ins and extensions, but only use for VLR really and HLTV

Pretty much went from Opera(started freezing and had problems with antivirus) -> Firefox(started having problems it slowing down) -> Chrome (had exclusive YouTube 60FPS at time)
Overall I would want to use Brave or Firefox due to privacy stuff, but Chrome UI is just superior and I don't like Firefox extensions as much

We have the voice recording that is likely real and we have seen some of the messages that are quite mentally abusive, but I guess it depends on how you see it. No is no, so in theory he is guilty (we don't know what happened after tho) and we don't know did it happen more than once. But then again is that enough to blame him for sexual abuse? There's just so much we don't know, so impossible to tell.

How can you say this after yesterday's and today's EMEA games. They were full chaos with insane individual plays.

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe, but maybe they just thought that finding duelist was easier than finding someone who plays Russ' roles. Also Trexx is really flexible and good on duelist, initiator and sentinel. He can perfectly take Russ' roles in the team. And Twisten as duelist is pretty much as good as Trexx, so it would have added a looot of firepower.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean originally they were thinking of adding Twisten so role changes were understandable if you consider that. Also they just came back from Masters so they had to change a lot of things anyway so in a way role change was maybe good in that way as well. More unpredictable. They just got unlucky with Riot and had to take Yacine and didn't have as much time with him.

OGLU's teamwork has always been good. IMO its more about individuals having good forms right now and that something extra new coaching staff added.

Nice to see that Molsi is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Really good mechanics, smart and really flexible.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah these people only think something is entertaining if theres clout involved

posted about 2 years ago

he had 0 bullets

posted about 2 years ago

true Molsi has always been so good but had bit quieter Stage 2 IIRC

posted about 2 years ago

yeah it was throw especially from Boo, but that is what most clutches like this are

NaVi were strong darkhorses before while G2 looked like shit first game

posted about 2 years ago

Avova and Meddo playing well (happens rarely) = G2 wins every game

Yeah put theres difference between being competitive regionally and being competitive internationally. Tier 2 teams are competitive against each other but that doesn't mean they will be competitive against tier 1 teams.

posted about 2 years ago

If OpTic played like they did vs XSET they wouldn't have won single game in Masters 2

posted about 2 years ago

The fact that NA always has 6+ teams fighting for 2nd spot just shows inconsistency. While EMEA always has the same strong teams fighting who are actually good and consistent. OpTic feels like miles away better than rest of NA while could any day lose to top 3 EMEA. That doesn't show me competitiveness. Also half of the teams you think are "A tier" are actually B tier.

PS5 especially if you have PC. You can pretty much play every Xbox exclusive on PC as well and have game pass while PS5 still does quality exclusives that aren't available on PC for years. Also PS5 more popular and more mainstream platform so its better in that way as well. Should be more common to find people with Playstation consoles nowadays. Remember when one in my school got Xbox One while almost everyone else had PS4 and that is likely same with this gen.

Compared to their population they aren't that impressive IMO, but I think why Asian countries like China and Korea do well is because of their work ethic and culture. On average they work harder than let's say western people. More pressure to perform well so they put in the time and grind. Also team like EDG in Valorant is far from "best" being like top 5 team or whatever in Asia doesn't mean anything.

posted about 2 years ago

For what I remember Spiderman and God of War 4 were the best exclusives IMO

posted about 2 years ago

I mean all 3 EMEA teams did well in last Masters (Guild got eliminated by the finalist) and even in Masters 1 Team Liquid as 4th seed (even 4th is arguable) got out of groups and did decent. What did APAC 2nd and 3rd seed do? Brazil 2nd seed? LATAM 2nd? Even NA looking at only OpTic looking decent compared to XSET etc.

So you are saying that EMEA should have more slots than NA just like the op

edit: nvm u arent baiter

posted about 2 years ago

I wonder how much better tier 2 will get after franchising because it pushes decent amount of ex tier 1 players to tier 2. People that have a lot of experience.

posted about 2 years ago

Easier to say after TL vs NaVi because I think either of those could take it. But OGLU definitely contender for that title.

posted about 2 years ago

they are at bootcamp so all dced

posted about 2 years ago

OGLU lost like every pistol today and lost against bonus on Icebox. You can talk how much you want about M3C throws but they started 4-0 on 2nd half.

posted about 2 years ago

Always has been. They have been one of the weakest VCT teams every Challengers, but they are still underrated. People always talk about them like if they were a joke and tier 2 team (depends how you see tiers but you get idea).

posted about 2 years ago

OGLU have deserved their spot in VCT. They aren't bad and as I said before have always had really clean teamwork and ability usage that has been their main thing. They also do some quite unique stuff with cool strats (haven't seen as much this LCQ). They have always just struggled on individual level IMO, but now players like feqew that I doubted a lot has really stepped up and players like Molsi and even Boo has gotten back to their form. And last stage they just signed Hype and replaced Dreamas so some synergy issues etc were expected and OGLU IMO looked worse in Stage 2 than they did in Stage 1 especialy from individual perspective.

Also OGLU is that type of team that can win map against any team, but then get 3-13d next that has happened in the past. Now they look more consistent so that is good to see.

posted about 2 years ago

True but that happens. M3C won some rounds because OGLU threw or whiffed. That is just how it goes. And M3C also won both pistols and 1 bonus as well
