If I remember correctly Aleksib was on OG during 2021 just like Jamppi was supposed assuming that he wouldn't have been benched at any time. So it can give some direction, but obviously Aleksib was one of the founding members and IGL so his salary would have been higher than Jamppi's most likely.
But maybe I understood something wrong and it also isn't as simple as that.

As someone said:
Sweden population: 10.35 million, Finland population: 5.5 million
so small population and overall the interest in these countries is really low I would say.
and Lithuania is more of eastern European than Northern.
It makes sense why Nordic + UK/Ireland are put under one league.

Ofc there will be team skins, buddies, playercards etc. Anything that makes money for the league. Common practice in many esport games. CSGO has team stickers and player autographs, R6S has team skin and weapon skins, Overwatch has hero skins, League has icons and Worlds winner skins etc.

Franchised leagues have their pros and cons. And even tho this sounds good so far it is really likely there will be some thing that suck in the future. Like org hanging by with minimal budget hosting tier 2 level team.

Take Over pretty mid IMO just like last year's, but Rise is fucking banger in anyway possible music video etc all considered. Rise, Legends Never Die and Phoenix my favorite.

Maybe, but can't deny that he improved his Jett and Raze a lot for LCQ. Looks way more comfortable and he finally fits that entry/duelist role. We don't talk about Raze ultis tho.

WATCH OUT 100T FANS this isn't same 100T as the one last year. nitr0, Ethan, Steel and Hiko with massive amount of prior experience while now you have people like bang playing on LAN for first time (I assume). Don't put too much expectations and pressure on these inexperienced players if you want them to win ;)

Maybe, but this game was just heavy Jett and Chamber diff. Even yesterday they lost to TL 8-13 while Chronicle was putting up worse performance than purp0.

posted about 2 years ago

He was good, but IMO his utility usage was bit meh compared to other Jett's and I always felt like he was pretty bad with ulti but had insane ultis this game hitting knifes like he is hitting bullets

posted about 2 years ago

Nah we gucci. Everyone sleeping on Fnatic because they didn't perform to the high expectations like they did online (still top 4) and also had to face PRX and Leviatan who play different to EMEA. FPX has best chances of going back to back out of any Masters winner team so far IMO due to their playstyle that is heavy antistrat and hard to read or copy. And TL is bit worrying I have to admit, but they are experienced and cracked individually so they should be able to hold their own even tho I don't expect much from them.

posted about 2 years ago

Kinda true, but Liquid had to play 2 games yesterday

posted about 2 years ago

I mean old 100T had nitr0, Ethan, Hiko, Steel all experienced ex CSGO players. While this current one only has Asuna from that team. And rest of them have really little experience (don't know about stellar or Will).

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it wasn't worth it looking at Chronicle's performance on Chamber. But tbh this game was just Scream and Jamppi show outaiming everyone I don't think Jady would have made any difference.

posted about 2 years ago

Scream has improved so much on Raze and Jett

posted about 2 years ago

My guess is that after yesterday's Breeze they came to conclusion that Chronicle isn't good Jett on Breeze due to bad performance and they subbed purp0 in who is their 6th man and at least used to be Jett main.

posted about 2 years ago

Dude he was last minute sub for Acend playing Kay/O as Jett main

posted about 2 years ago

Tier 2 player dragged in to play fast entry against team with insane aimers like Team Liquid. Yeah he will likely get fucked and its understandable. You can only blame whoever made this decision. Also Chronicle was clearly uncomfortable on this role as well and pretty much they subbed in purp0 just so Chronicle can perform on Chamber. So far it hasn't been anything crazy.

posted about 2 years ago

Playing first tier 1 game after those couple in stage 1 and also high stakes game. Can't really blame him too much. Also he is just getting fucked as hard entry with this fast style of M3C. Chronicle went -11 yesterday playing same role.

I feel like overall its because PC gaming is popular in these countries and weather is so shit at least in Nordics that people spend more time at home. Also at least in Nordics we have good financial support systems and free/cheap healthcare etc so you can pretty easily just take year off and just grind if you have potential.

posted about 2 years ago

100T also their jerseys are the best

posted about 2 years ago

Chronicle had bad Breeze game yesterday so maybe he isnt comfortable enough while purp0 is Jett main

posted about 2 years ago

He is having such good game right now and is also main IGLing

Didn't actually know that. Really impressive from Lithuania tho having all of OGLU (minus Molsi), Cender, nukkye, vakk and even Soulcas has ties to Lithuania. Cool to see.

havent seen his face in long time so maybe he changed already. Red for Gambit maybe?

I mean LoL's MSI had Chinese team, but they were playing from China and didn't fly to South Korea LAN. It had to do with Covid restrictions IIRC but don't know are they relevant for Champions.

Both are bad. Simple.

posted about 2 years ago

because in Faceit high rank games are better quality and made out of actually good players. Its not as big of a problem in Valorant yet but having pro leagues etc would be cool. For example in CSGO your average Global Elite(highest rank) is like level 7 out of 10 in Faceit. Having Radiant top 500 rank helps, but could become problem in the future.

Maybe I don't know about other languages, but you still want to have strong audience for main aka English stream. Riot wants to make franchising a big thing with only 3 leagues, but they don't even try to build up EMEA rn. NA doesn't even need main stream with watchparties.

posted about 2 years ago

Actually pretty fucked from Riot. Understandable for viewership, but not overall. EMEA has already been bit struggling with viewership and then they move 50k+ stream (I don't remember correctly) to 3rd channel that currently has less than 10k views. Also 2 known teams like G2 and TL. Final map of BO3, but its better to skip that for 1st map of BO5....

posted about 2 years ago

I like G2, but I have no faith in them. Its just team with so many questions. Meddo or Avova form changes so much from tier 2 level to insane. Mixwell has games where he doesn't get much impact at all especially compared to other players in his role. They don't have proper IGL really who is natural at it. etc

and so far every time they have qualified its because all of their players are hitting, but that seems to last so little time. So inconsistent in that regard. Or actually they are consistent aka perform bad most of time, but do well when final chance.

only players who showed up on LAN were hoody and nukkye, and even nukkye was bit underwhelming. Both Avova and Meddo went back to their prior lowers form, Mixwell pretty low impact Chamber/Jett. And overall nukkye's calls or whoever made them were pretty bad and lame. They played much worse on LAN compared to their qualification games.
