Finland:
Derke - duelist (Raze, Jett - can also play Chamber on some maps)
Jamppi - Chamber/Sentinel (Champer, Killjoy - can also play Jett, Omen, Sova on some maps)
hoody - flex/flashes (KayO, Skye, Breach, Sage - can also play Sova on some maps)
BONECOLD - smokers and IGL (Omen, Brimstone, Viper(?) - can also play initiators)
Iluri - initiator (Sova, Breach, Fade(?) - also was IGL for Fokus IIRC)

you could also bring H1ber in as duelist/entry, Derke Chamber and Jamppi initiator and kick Iluri out, but IMO this current is more well rounded.

Coach: KUNDIKUNDI(BIG)

really flexible roster with nice firepower from Derke, Jamppi and hoody trio. And a lot of experience.

but outside of that Russia and USA would be strongest on paper and Lithuania and Sweden would be my dark horses with Finland.

I wouldn't really suggest because its like cancer that you love and hate at same time, but Destiny 2 is my most played game outside of CS. Also milsim games like Squad and Hell Let Loose are really fun IMO.

European crowd either Poland or something so many can travel there easy or French etc. Best crowds hands down. Obviously I don't know about Valorant because it doesn't have similar culture.

Yes? I don't even play Valorant almost at all. I just know that current Valorant DM is hot garbage and increasing the kills to 100 would improve it. While this mode sounds so bad and dumb in my head. Like what is even the point? People smoking areas so you can't see anyone, spamming flashes to your face, using prawlers, boombots etc. Like how is that fun in DM first to 100 kills setting?

edit: if its team vs team like Team Deatmatch in CoD then I can understand I thought that it was free for all

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe, but I'm telling you first year will be filled with mediocre teams that were only built to gather fanbase. Like the rumors of KOI wanting to sign Mixwell, Koldamenta and Lucas Rojo. Just rumors and may be complete false, but I doubt it. Same with team like Vitality likely wanting to keep at least 1 French even if that lowered the skill cap. They sign mediocre players just because of nationality while actual good talent gets swiped to tier 2. This is especially the case in EMEA because Riot wants that different teams/orgs represent different area and countries in Europe.

posted about 2 years ago

Many LoL Worlds songs highlight the year before tho. And IMO it would be kinda fucked if there wasn't anything about Acend but then someone like Tenz makes it even tho he hasn't done anything for months outside of clout.

posted about 2 years ago

Why I feel like franchising will completely fuck EMEA. Like KOI likely trying to build mostly Spanish team that will suck ass anyway and take spot from tier 1. Same with Vitality having to keep at least 1 French player etc. Will just make teams worse just so they are more marketable for certain area.

posted about 2 years ago

But why? Just add normal DM with 100 kills. I guess it good to practice against flying Jetts and Razes but outside of that why would anyone play this?

posted about 2 years ago

It might be Zyppan, but I doubt Redgar. He doesn't have blond hair. But then again they started working on this months ago, so why would they pick Zyppan out of any? Idk

posted about 2 years ago

Considering that Acend won last Champions it would be weird from Riot to not include at least 1 of them. Obviously we could see more faces in the music video, but I think it remind me a lot of starxo. Thinking about it the first guy might be Zyppan actually.

I was like "where are the players will we only get generic gamers this year as well" but huh luckily those are actual pro players in that pic when looking closer
My guess from left to right:
??? could be from LATAM so every region gets representation maybe Keznit?
Mel
Sacy
Benkai
Boaster
stax
??? maybe Liquid female team player
Tenz
Laz

I don't know much about this guy and what I know makes me dislike him, but I don't usually support the platform banning of anyone unless there's REALLY a reason. I think opinions should be allowed even if they are unpopular (as long as it doesn't go full hate mode). So maybe he went crazy idk, but overall I think it is just easy way to shut down people whose opinions differ from the mainstream audience. And even tho they are private companies social media platforms hold a lot of power.

this isn't defense for this guy specifically but overall

Underrated player this year

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know, but I think we should have at least Derke vs yay (Masters 2 narrative), Boaster vs Benkai (entertainer IGLs), Bcj vs Stax (obvious) when it comes to teams, but its hard because many teams so there should be representations but don't know about other banters and obviously players like Asuna, Scream etc would kind of have to be there for clout.

Funnily Ion Phantom and Glitchpop Vandal are some of the best feeling skins for me. While in the other hand I own Protocol Phantom and RGX Vandal and I just don't like them at all. Just feel really uncomfortable for some reason. But for example Prime Vandal and Minima Phantom(only skins I own outside of those 2) feel decent.

posted about 2 years ago

Reaver Vandal and Recon Phantom only ones you need. I don't own either myself tho. But they are best feeling skins for Vandal and Phantom. And feel > looks in this game. I'm telling you Reaver Vandal and Recon Phantom have way less recoil than any other skin. Has to do with more bulky design and that is why Prime Phantom isn't that good sorry.

M3C Trexx would be good, but tbh I kind of hope M3C would stay with Jady for some time. Chronicle looked pretty good on duelist entry role and Jady's potential is really high. He just didn't have time to get to good form with this team and also took break before joining M3C. Give him some time and we might see his true potential. But yeah potential M3C and G2 rosters of:

M3C: Trexx, Chronicle, nAts, Redgar, Sheydos
G2: nukkye, hoody, Koldamenta, Leo, Sayf

would be good af only worried with sentinel role on G2 because Trexx is likely better sentinel than Sayf and neither of hoody or nukkye play sentinels.

posted about 2 years ago

that's cheap af, but I don't know about Turkish economics and salaries

posted about 2 years ago

M3C core is problematic because of language barrier. If I'm not wrong nukkye knows some basics of Russian but has apparently said he doesn't want to play in Russian speaking team ever again and hoody doesn't speak Russian at least to my knowledge and assumption.

I watch Valorant esport way more, but CSGO esport highs are way higher than Valorant's. Also events, production, casters, crowd(unfair) are way better in CSGO. I think a lot of it just comes down to which scene you follow more. I currently follow Valorant really closely so I find it better in average, but if it wasn't for that CSGO would easily take the crown IMO. CSGO has more legendary players, but Valorant maybe funnier to follow because its newer and the scene is constantly changing. That is why I watch bunch of Valorant games even if I don't care about the stakes or teams, while in CSGO I don't really watch unless its hype matchup.

And I personally like playing CSGO way more, Valorant is fine at times but not so fun most of time. I'm also worse at Valorant for some reason. And I don't know what you mean with "low player base"? Maybe it isn't crazy popular outside of EU, but its far from low player base.

Just sign Guild (Leo, Sayf, Koldamenta, Trexx) and keep either nukkye or hoody. Would be insane roster.

Koldamenta - smokes/IGL
Leo - initiator
Sayf - jett/chamber
Trexx - flex/flashers etc
nukkye - duelist/entry

or

Koldamenta - smokes/IGL
Leo - initiator
Sayf - jett/chamber
Trexx - duelist/entry
hoody - flex/flashers

and both Trexx and Sayf can share sentinel role if Chamber becomes off meta. Both rosters would be insane.

posted about 2 years ago

Feels bit underwhelming tbh. If peak form then they are good, but holy does this roster look inconsistent as fuck. I don't see single consistent player on this list outside of maybe Koldamenta, but see 4 whose performance can go from good to bad in any game.

posted about 2 years ago

Expected tbh. I just really hope Sayf/Leo/Trexx/Koldamenta go as pack of 4. But sadly its pretty unlikely if you think about it. All those 4 should find a team like 100%. Really hope they won't be in contract jail.

I don't know hard to say, but my prediction is that Liquid will once again show the EMEA superiority and get 1st spot. Feels like that is theme most of the time. Everyone expects some EMEA teams to do bad, but forget that they are playing in competitive region against consistent highly experienced rosters. Happened with Fnatic last Champions and with Guild and even FPX last Masters etc.

You are not wrong about Mistic, but he had some nice rounds in EMEA and maybe he didn't end up with the best stats but usually had big impact with kills. That wasn't visible in Masters sadly.

Of course. They were the first team to play against PRX so they didn't have much footage + PRX style is really different to what they are used to. Like do you think FPX would have won so dominantly against them on Bind if it wasn't for Fnatic vs PRX? And Fnatic still made both maps close while also losing majority of the pistol rounds.
And Leviatan in other hand isn't a bad team and also play pretty different to your typical EMEA team.

My overall take away of Fnatic is that they are just bad at adapting to different styles and their individual players especially Derke and Mistic were not on their peak form. So in that sense it doesn't favor them heading into Champions, because now there's even more teams that play non typical EMEA styles. But I do believe their group should favor them because it will be more comfortable for them. Also if they still have Breeze as their perma ban and aren't good on Pearl then it will be a problem. I do believe in their ability to learning new maps quick tho.

posted about 2 years ago

What you mean? They looked like the best team in the world and easily best in EMEA heading into Masters 2. And knowing their peak and quality its likely they will be strong contender in Champions. So of course any reasonable person is going to expect more from them than 100T. Fnatic deserved their hype, 100T haven't.

I like their casting, but I'm bit biased because followed them since Overwatch. Were 2nd best duo there IMO after Uber/X. One of the best duos on Valorant tho.

no unless you count in Chinese viewership then maybe

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like Fnatic will do well on it because they are always good on new maps. They were the first to show good Fracture last year in Champions. And they also have Breeze as perma ban so that forces them to trying to become good at it.

Liquid is so smart. They have NA HQ and EU HQ and have rosters from both regions. NA CSGO roster(not fully rn IIRC), EU Valorant roster, NA LoL roster that is actually made out of 5 EU players like holy

Yeah most likely I remember her doing some "desk" work on Riot's Arcane event and it was good. But knowing that this year's Champions song is likely performed by female singer because last year's was male and LoL Worlds usually goes from male to female to male.... and Chrissy is one of their go to for female vocals.

posted about 2 years ago

EDG is still hard to predict, but even though its hard group on paper like it is I still do believe it suits Team Liquid quite well. You want to have a team full of confident players with good aims in that group and TL is just that. Seeing all these 4 going against each other will be insane since all of them have pretty similar style when it comes to confidence and aim diff.

posted about 2 years ago

Prediction:
Champions 2022: Champions themed Phantom skin, pretty similar to Champions Vandal, easy money.

Champions 2023->forward: gun picked by winner team and designed to suit the winner teams branding as partnered teams are now a thing. Like imagine if FPX won it would be like Vandal with fire effects and red/black/grey color theme. Maybe not branding, but colors and particles etc suit team branding. Kind of like LoL Worlds skins or Overwatch winner team and MVP skins. Like when Sinatraa got Alien Zarya skin because it was his main and him being Alien was meme.

I think 100T should be good matchup for Fnatic. Fnatic didn't have the greatest Masters 2 performance, but they also played first match against PRX who play really uncommon style and Fnatic still made the maps quite close. And almost lost to Leviatan who also play quite aggressive style and different to what Fnatic is used to. I think many are forgetting that and underrating them. 100T definitely has a chance at winning I wouldn't be surprised, but I would imagine Fnatic being pretty happy for this groups. It just suits their style way better.

posted about 2 years ago

Depends on Fnatic form. But IMO there are scarier teams than 100T. They play like EMEA so its better for team like Fnatic. Fnatic weren't on prime form in Masters 2 and they had to play against PRX and Leviatan who play way different to majority of EMEA. They don't seem to be good at adapting to different styles, but most NA teams suit them well. I think 100T fans should be more scared of getting to same group with Fnatic and DRX(group DRX is usually insane).
