They literally banned Ascent that is FPX's best map and Split that is maybe weak map for PRX? I don't know about PRX's Icebox or Breeze though, but Bind and Fracture should be good for them. We just have to see how much FPX has prepared against Yoru comp, but usually they are really good with antistratting so who knows. Fnatic wasn't far off from winning on Bind even when they lost both pistols.

Sorry but FPX can't fall even if they lose today. Made it to finals while getting out of groups with a sub, played the most games out of any team while making full lower bracket run.

posted about 2 years ago

FPX 3-1 or 3-2. IMO their style is pretty good against PRX.

Monsteerr is really good tho

Compared to the size of that crowd that has to be the most lamest shit I've seen. No hate because its just cultural difference, but that is far from "could never".

Oh I didn't know Sweden, Latvia/UK, Ukraine and Russia weren't European countries. Thanks for teaching me!

IMO they would have had really good chance at winning. They were perfect for that meta. This isn't meant to be copium take, but it was kind of unlucky that both FPX and Fnatic who were the most meta teams in EMEA couldn't attend or play with full roster. FPX knew how to play aggro.

He has been whiffing quite a lot this game though. Overall seems to problem for FPX right now. They just aren't hitting.

posted about 2 years ago

Their Bind is good, so they should be favorites there but who knows. At least FPX's Bind is bit different to others

posted about 2 years ago

Both Shao and Suygetsu have mechanical skills of carry duelist while playing support roles. And then they have Ardiis and Zyppan as actual duelist/flex.

posted about 2 years ago

Let's chill. Feels like OpTic always loses on their map picks, but do good on opponent's. Obviously I don't know did OpTic expect FPX to pick Icebox so who knows how it is going to go. Also Yay seems to be on good form and that is must if OpTic wants to win Icebox.

posted about 2 years ago

So what is the problem with that? I don't usually have a flair, because I don't giga support one team, but put on FPX flair two days ago because I'm cheering for them as the 2nd EMEA representator in Masters 2. So why wouldn't some EMEA supporters switch it from FNC flair to FPX?

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think their map pool is shit though. People say this because they've been getting owned by Fnatic in EMEA most of the time. Their Ascent is good, Fracture is pretty good especially when they adapted to Neon, Breeze hasn't looked that good lately but historically they are good at it and they have all the qualities to be good on that map even with new comp, their Split is decent just like their Haven. Their Icebox is pretty meh, but so is OpTic's. And their Bind is again decent and somewhat different to other teams.

And the most important thing of this team is that every player can pop off. If they keep this individual form they don't even have to be amazing on some of the maps and they can still win. Its pretty similar to OpTic in that regard. Both teams individuals are just really good and can carry games. Also FPX is heavy antistrat team so they don't really have to have that strong map pool on paper. They can flex around if needed. For example just look how PRX kinda rolled OpTic on Haven with Sage and that is something FPX could play as well.

Also I think people are overrating OpTic's map pool little. They got rolled on Haven vs PRX, got rolled on Fracture vs PRX and DRX. And as I said their Icebox is usually just "yay go kill" and if that isn't happening they lose. And they aren't that amazing Split or Haven teams either especially when people have started to learn how they play.

so my prediction is that FPX wins 3 maps because I predict them to win, but the game is 50/50.

posted about 2 years ago

This has to be a bait. He literally carried Fnatic against Leviatan

posted about 2 years ago

Of course its really 50/50. It also depends on player form. Yay - Ardiis, Suygetsu - Marved, Victor - Zyppanm Crashies - Shao etc.

posted about 2 years ago

Their bonus strat is good. Its almost full buy every time because of how they handle 2nd round economic. Fnatic should still be winning some, but its not surprising why they win so many bonus rounds overall. Even in EMEA.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah they really struggle on pistols, but tbh FPX bonus rounds are usually really good due to Vandals

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think they would get rid of him. Top 4 finish here already. Plus they have kept him after all these roster changes so he definitely brings more to this team than what is visible by looking at his stats.

posted about 2 years ago

his aim is so crispy

posted about 2 years ago

In my opinion as well. I think Fnatic is likely better in BO5 against OpTic, but FPX better against PRX imo.

posted about 2 years ago

Feels bad for FPX they were doing so well, but kinda shit on the bed in the end. Hopefully it doesn't break their mental. Really hope for 3 maps.

posted about 2 years ago

100% the disrespect Suygetsu was getting when FPX was playing with a sub was crazy

posted about 2 years ago

There was guy sitting in crowd with girl next to him and Fnatic sticker or paint in cheek.

posted about 2 years ago

PRX not playing Yoru on Bind = free for Fnatic

posted about 2 years ago

I mean EMEA had to eliminate each other and PRX won over Guild and Fnatic. Would take Guild over team like XSET anyday

posted about 2 years ago

OpTic is 0-7 vs EMEA

posted about 2 years ago

Ofc not. That will be problem in Valorant unless they host it in region that won't do well. Why would EU crowd cheer for NA, or NA crowd for EU etc?

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah that is really weird tbh. Alcohol makes people more cheerful usually and that's why every crowd should allow them IMO. But I don't know how Danish laws work tbh. I'm pretty sure they are pretty open with alcohol, but who knows. Maybe it was just Riot being scared.

posted about 2 years ago

They took a risk trying to fuck up OpTic's prep, but the problem is that they just went to pretty basic Bind comp that most teams are used to playing against anyway.

posted about 2 years ago

Too much hustle. Players who get eliminated almost instantly fly back to their countries. And I don't think anyone would fly there just play in showmatch.

posted about 2 years ago

Should have just offered cheap beer for anyone who attends bit of an investment but good one

posted about 2 years ago

Also kind of risky from PRX, but tbh you can't go wrong with Chamber.

posted about 2 years ago

I wouldn't be surprised if they won on Bind. They seem to be really bad on their own map pick. Maybe they are too predictable or just focus too much on opponent map pick.

posted about 2 years ago

I like both Balla and Doug, but if I'm honest this duo just isn't it IMO. They just feel like that duo that was just made because they couldn't find anyone else. They don't feel like proper caster duo if you know what I mean. Just 2 separate guys. It will take time so maybe they will get better as time goes on.
Also they aren't the most hype and pretty biased.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean majority of the crowd were there for LoL and for the content creators. It wasn't Valorant exclusive event it was KCorp event. 3rd most popular EU LoL team and France biggest streamer im pretty sure.

posted about 2 years ago

OpTic Haven attack usually better with Neon, but they got kinda rolled on defense. Will see how prepared PRX are.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah compared to size its pretty good

posted about 2 years ago

Japan gets huge crowds, but sadly Japanese culture isn't the best for hype crowd. Really quiet for what I remember.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah and it has potential to be even louder next game, because let's be real who in EU would cheer for OpTic?

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah.. I'm pretty sure it is because CSGO is obviously really big in Denmark, but also someone explained how there was many news about Astralis etc so many who don't even follow CSGO know Astralis and want to cheer for them and see them play. Aka there's many who don't know anything about the other teams. Even when some Danish players like Karrigan or whole of Heroic were playing the crowd was pretty sleeper, but when Astralis was playing it was loud.

posted about 2 years ago

EU crowd best crowd, but Danish crowd is usually pretty meh even in CSGO unless Danish team is playing + 3000 audience that is half empty

posted about 2 years ago

nah first 2 days is like 50% full

What voice? I didn't watch I just can't I'm sorry

Not surpising Fnatic lost 10-13 while losing both pistols. And Derke wasn't having his best game either. Its not unbeatable by any means.

Buying hotdogs and pizza slides COPIUM

posted about 2 years ago

Unpopular take, but I feel like FPX could do better against PRX than Fnatic. They don't play as basic and are hard antistrat.

posted about 2 years ago

That's really cool! Keep it up man!

posted about 2 years ago

Ardiis is the most underrated player. He has played the most rounds out of any player (outside of FPX) while losing 2 games, got to top 4 and still has the highest average ACS in whole tournament and really impressive stats overall. People be underrating because he is playing Chamber (even played big impact Jett), but if it was Yay, Derke, Less or any other more known Chamber everyone would be hyping them up like crazy. Its insane how consistently good he has been this event while also playing half of the games with a sub. I don't know what it is. FPX and their individual players are so so underrated its crazy.
