I mean on paper this team is fucking insane. First super team in EMEA if it happens. EU super teams never work tho. They made one in LoL and almost didn't make it to top 4 EU lol.

I just don't know how Chronicle+Leo would work. Both are good and flexible, but Leo is initiator so then what role Chronicle would take? Sentinel and move Alfajer to full flex? Entry and move Alfajer to full sentinel? Because I see him as initiator player mainly. Not really proper sentinel either. Ofc he can play anything so no problem, but that duo wouldn't be first one to come to my mind.

I don't know, but most likely Sheriff

cs doesn't really require that much math tbh. Maybe counting economy on top level might require you to know soma math and have good memory, but outside of that not really. Also rotations and how long smokes etc last require you to count in your head. But all in all match isnt that important

Sounds decent. Its not perfect IMO, but it gives idea of how it could have sounded with proper beat drop. I'm actually pretty exited for the official remix version. Never really liked those, but here it could actually work.

Good. You could easily see the clear improvements in OGLU after they added Salah. He seems to be really solid coach.

Bee(Vitality) -> EU flag(EMEA league) -> Mage/Bullseye(Valorant ability/shooting) -> ?
so yes it hints at Valorant move

Liquid because it goes well with Estonia flag

I'm pretty sure COD 4(PS3) was my first multiplayer FPS, because I didn't have internet on PS2. Also Socom Confortation even tho it's more like third person shooter.

I think he could get slot as initiator player from some franchise team

posted about 2 years ago

True. Thinking same.

posted about 2 years ago

Ofc no I don't think he is planning playing Valorantm OG feels like short time deal. Also he isn't proven in Valorant.

Yeh I feel like they wouldn't get rid of Cloud and ssk if they didn't try to sign whole FPX. Both are good and tbh could work as good replacement for Ardis and Zyppan. So I doubt they would only sign AnGE1, Shao and Suygetsu and get rid of Cloud and ssk.

Yay isn't coming to EMEA

posted about 2 years ago

Oh yeah that might be true. I completely forgot it. I guess I was thinking he was going to watch Champions, but Russia -> Turkey -> France makes more sense.

posted about 2 years ago

Would love to see Turkish teams going international, but I doubt it. But its pretty interesting. nAts went to Paris "for vacation" while having setup there ready for him, and now Chronicle going to Turkey for some reason and having setup ready for him. Also Fnatic is an option considering that Alfajer is Turkish and maybe they want to film promo video or something in Turkey? Also I don't know about Visas, but isn't it easier for Russians to fly to Turkey than many other EU countries?

We don't know because we don't know the rosters. But my prediction:
NA - Sentinel, because they have so many fanboys so they will always perform worse than expectations from mainstream
EMEA - Vitality, because they always build super teams but end up sucking anyway like their LoL roster. I can see something similar happening in Valorant.
Pacific - Zeta, because again there's many fanboys and people who believe in Japan.

Yeah.. I don't know about this one. He fucked up badly considering that it cost them the slot for Valorant franchise league and I can just imagine that many investors and sponsors weren't happy. But damn. I still think this is really harsh punishments all things considered. He still build G2 to be one of the biggest esport orgs in the world. If he just took some time off everyone would have forgotten this in no time if I'm honest. What he did wasn't that bad in the end of the day.

I guess it tries to give you a personality type based on what you answer to the questions. And those letters mean something like first are you more introvert or extrovert and then next letters again comes from 2 different opposites if I'm not wrong and then you get 4 letter combination that is the personality type.

He will shit people even harder in NA so that is better option for him

Nah both Cloud and Ardiis deserve starting spot on team

posted about 2 years ago

Doesn't matter. Majority of the 6th players will be just bench warmers from tier 2/3. No player with actual potential or future would accept being the 6th player.

posted about 2 years ago

Ok this confirms that they are going to or at least trying to buy whole FPX. No other reason. 7ssk7 and Cloud are insane tho and sad to see them go if everything works out, but they will 100% find teams in franchising leagues no doubt. Unless there's problems with Cloud's visa.

Can't blame NaVi tho. They would get Ukrainian IGL and face of the team. And out of rest 2 players and head coach would be non-Russian so signing them would be easier for them. And both Suygetsu and Shao while being Russian live in Serbia.

posted about 2 years ago

True about flexibility being important, but I don't think 6th man matters much. They have same system in LoL (at least some had) and most don't even know who the 6ths are. Like think about the best western LoL team world has seen (G2) had like Promisq and Pinoy as 6th men? If you don't know: they wweren't very good. Same as F1 teams have reserve drivers. I think its going to be pretty similar to that and you will see situations like when Otom was on Fnatic.
Some teams will use this properly tho, but my prediction is that many 6th players are just some tier 2/3 who just sit on bench most of the time. Obviously you have games like Overwatch where having more than 6 players actually helps a lot. But I doubt that will happen in Valorant.

IMO perfect fit would be

  • Leo
  • hoody

Players that pretty much play exact same role and agents, but are upgrades in firepower. Sheydos would be good as well, but I truly think hoody would suit this team really well as replacement for Mistic. I think people are sleeping on him a bit just because G2 wasn't doing well overall. He even performed on LAN.

And I think Shao is insane, but I actually rate Leo bit higher than him. Shao could be good because he adds more experience and could help Boaster with calling (maybe, he was the caller for FPX when ANGE1 couldn't play IIRC) tho. Can't go wrong with either one.

Depends how much they are willing to spend. Will they spend big money to get really good roster, or do they just want to stay in the middle of the pack.
But my roster for them assuming that they won't go crazy big money:

Fit1nho - duelist/Chamber (already in the team. Spanish representation. Has potential)
Hoody/Molsi - flex/flash (was in Giants before G2, still good on his role. And Molsi is underrated and really good)
Boo - smokes/IGL(?) (I don't know does he IGL but someone said he does and I think he proved himself on OGLU if that is the case)
Russz/Musashi - initiator (hard to figure out 5th, but both of these players could be good if they started playing initiator as main role)
Monsteerr - sentinel (underrated sentinel, had pretty good time in Acend and showed a lot of potential)

really mid tier team on paper, but that is my expectations from Giants. I don't think they will make a roster with big names. Especially for 1st team. Maybe I'm wrong. I think this team could be decent if the pieces work together.

Individually Braveaf I think. He just added more firepower. But I would say Enzo likely has better ability usage and added to calling. And we don't know how good Braveaf's Fade is while Enzo was one of the first top tier Fade util players IMO.

Americas: TenZ - just because there's still so so many fanboys who thinks he is a god and still look at his Iceland 2021 stats.
Europe: zeek - he was good last year, but has been really inconsistent in 2022. Some people still think he is god tier flex even though there are better ones.
Pacific: idk Skrossi I guess

posted about 2 years ago

Sounds good, but I really hope they stick with Cloud and 7ssk7. I've seen multiple people really underrating these 2. Cloud has always been a beast and has so so much potential. And 7ssk7 has finally found his consistency that he was lacking at some point and right now looks dangerous. Like these guys were performing against best of EMEA even when they had players like Duno and Dinkzj in same team. Imagine them on good team.

I don't think Carlos is bad owner. Yeah he fucked up with this one, but if you look at G2's positions as esport org. Its pretty fucking good. I think he has done pretty good job with it. Obviously outside G2's success I have always been bit uncertain about Carlos. For me he comes out as arrogant and kind of asshole. That is the vibes he is giving me in interviews etc. That is part of G2's brand, but even still I feel like he might not be that nice of a person. And feels really cocky and high of himself. And some of the decision he has done with G2 has been good from orgs/finances point of view, but when it comes to listening to players and trying to make their life nice it feels bit shitty. Like when Perkz was forced to relocate to NA because G2 asked so much money and didn't want him to stay in EU. While you have orgs like Team Liquid who just let Han Sama go for free (to what I know).

Good, but not that good for Worlds song. Also video was really mid and forgettable.

Pretty good but lacks hype tbh. Also music video is ok, but idk feels really messy. Or at least I have problem following the storyline. Same with song tbh it kind of sounds like mixture of 2 songs.
