FPX but their map vetos are troll

posted about 2 years ago

maybe but its one of the EMEA teams that's I'm 100% sure

posted about 2 years ago

zyppan has had way bigger role this event wondering is it just individual performance or did the team change their style little

posted about 2 years ago

5-13 7-13 but true for first games

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not into linguistics so I don't know how to explain it sorry. Its just different compared to English obviously. As I said just go to Google Translator and select finnish and click audio. Its like Jamp pi instead of jam pi and J sounds bit different

posted about 2 years ago

that is true but its still hard to believe

posted about 2 years ago

but it can't be worse than their Breeze it just can't. They were decent on it during Copenhagen. Even role wise that map makes perfect sense.

posted about 2 years ago

WHY IS FPX STILL BANNING HAVEN HELOOO

posted about 2 years ago

idk how to explain if you care check from Google Translator

posted about 2 years ago

yeah unlucky but at least they weren't the ones dragging their teams down both having good tournaments overall

posted about 2 years ago

Depends which Fnatic shows up again. Their form goes from shit to really good all the time. TL's form looks more consistent right now. So TL.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know but see it written wrong more than right and casters pronounce it Jampii they don't know how to say p-p together.

posted about 2 years ago

On English broadcast pretty much every player whose name isn't made English in mind. For example Jamppi and people are even writing it wrong all the time. It has 2 P's it isn't Jampi.

because of snowball effect
Have money -> get the best -> best generate more money ->
if you are best at what you are doing and only care about money there's no reason to stay in anywhere else than USA in the west pretty much. You get paid way more and its never ending cycle. And money also means they have more resources and can make better stuff.

Best casters are casting other games. Its like with players. All washed players switched to Valorant and same kind of goes for casters. Not saying they are bad or washed in that way, but if you think about it most Valorant caster duos come from other games where they weren't the best outside of maybe Bren & Sideshow (2nd best) but OW is in mud rn. Like even Pansy who is one of the better in Valorant wasn't top top in CSGO. At least not recently.

But the problem is that you can't know how new map works in international games before you see how each regions plays. Just because EMEA teams started playing Pearl in certain way and NA started playing it in certain way etc doesn't instantly mean that the other one is better. Teams adapt to how the region plays and when they enter international LAN no one knows how each other play. And then some styles are just going to work better than others. While when next tournament comes along teams will have bunch of footage of how different regions play and start making changes to their styles implement similar strats and then some other teams will again try to counter those etc. and that's how it evolves. And that's when we start actually seeing real competition.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes but Pearl is still new map on international event and just because some regions had better idea and then the meta evolved in certain way that works against other styles gives them big advantage coming here. Wait when teams actually know how each region plays and learn the map more. This is why you don't add new maps to Champions. Same can be said when Fracture came out with Fnatic. Its fluke map right now.

posted about 2 years ago

Too early to say. First international tournament with this map. Wait for next event when it actually matters and then we can talk.

posted about 2 years ago

they made it to semis tho and I don't care what Liquid did or didn't

posted about 2 years ago

because Astralis has bunch of normie mainstream fans who only know them and no one else

posted about 2 years ago

all this just to lose in semis or finals

posted about 2 years ago

NA so surprised that no one in Turkey care about their teams or what?

posted about 2 years ago

What do you expect? Crowd cheering for NA team with no clout or noticeable personalities? That is just how it goes. Better to be silent than booing.

posted about 2 years ago

They only played Pearl once and at least it looked way better than their Breeze. And I think their Haven is decent at least. Again way better than Breeze where they keep changing comps every day.

posted about 2 years ago

No. Chamber is still way too good. Should add way more nerfs. Such boring agent to watch as well.

posted about 2 years ago

FPX if they stop throwing map veto its crazy.

flashy: kennyS
consistent: dev1ce
flashy and consistent: s1mple

so overall I would say s1mple because he is insane on rifle as well. kennyS was a beast back when he played, but s1mple has been the best CSGO player for past few years.

IMO most realistic one would be
Koldamenta/Redgar - IGL
Soulcas - initiator/flex
Jamppi - Chamber/flex
Scream - duelist
Monsteerr/nAts - sentinel

because I wouldn't change more than 2 and even then Dimasick is still pretty new and easier to replace while Nivera has been pretty disappointing for me so far. Would want to keep the core of Scream/Jamppi/soulcas I think it has potential. Also there's going to be a lot of offers for M3C players so that is why I would rather try to pick Monsteerr over nAts and its more realistic. Same kind of goes with Guild and having more than 1 joining. All in all they just need to pick proper IGL and now its the time.

posted about 2 years ago

I think this game just once again highlighted some of Liquid's clear problems.

posted about 2 years ago

world needs Onur vs BarBarr fight holy both also look fit af so imagine that

posted about 2 years ago

nukkye and rest of G2. Guy looks mad always and gives pretty bad vibes on stream IMO. A lot of passive aggressiveness.

posted about 2 years ago

OpTic were the favorites for sure and TL gave them good fight on Breeze and Bind all things considered. But I'm just more disappointed of some of the individuals. I think there was just many bad individual decision makings that ended up losing them rounds. For example Bind was winnable IMO, but then you have ego peeks, bad positions and whiffs from Dimasick. Bad decision making tunnel visioning from Nivera. Bad awareness on Ascent etc.

posted about 2 years ago

nah if they have a chance much rather pick proper IGL from either Koldamenta or Redgar and get rid of Dimasick. I still believe there's potential in soulcas to not try him with proper IGL if possible. Dimasick is decent as well, but I would rather replace him.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah Monsteerr is really good already and has bright future. On top of that his decision making seems to be really good and he seems to have really good understanding of the game looking at some of Acend's games and his plays. Something that Nivera is lacking IMO.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it kind of feels like it. He has been so off for most of this year. Like maybe try to get nAts or someone like Monsteerr potentially.

  • Nivera, -Dimasick
    +Koldamenta/Redgar, +nAts/Monsteerr
would be perfect knowing that M3C, Guild and Acend are all likely out of franchising

Some of these players have so bad awareness holy. Liquid has to be the most unaware team in the tournament.

posted about 2 years ago

He really needs to step up. Feels like a liability for Team Liquid nowadays. Obviously he is the sentinel player so his role is more than just fragging, but his game sense or awareness doesn't seem to be really good (when it comes to pros). He is usually the player who will just push somewhere without thinking someone may be there, or he is just completely forgetting where the enemies were like today on Breeze where he almost gave Marved free kill by forgetting the angles. Or just chasing FNS to teleport without thinking OpTic player might be on A short. He just has many moments like this nowadays.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah TL strat against ecos: wait and let's take individual duels. Like why not just find Chamber and then rush to other side or some shit. Way better than playing scared losing 1 by 1.

posted about 2 years ago

Lost them the round. Peaking Yay Chamber for no reason and then Nivera just tunnel visions to FNS completely ignoring A short. So many throws that round.

posted about 2 years ago

Nivera has been pretty meh for quite a while already. His decision making and awareness is so bad at times and whiffs quite often nowadays. He has good moments also and a lot of impact, but I feel like he has looked worse as time has went by. Hopefully he will bounce back though.

posted about 2 years ago

because Pheonix is way better choice for Scream and if you can farm ult orbs its really effective. Also you can use his wall and flashes for a lot of pressure on both sides. So many times Scream would go mid and wall door and flash through.

posted about 2 years ago

Some players just are like that. They want to concentrate and keep themselves focused. Also when you are in team with Scream and Jamppi you don't need to bring much hyping up.

posted about 2 years ago

What did you expect? Go to Turkey and they are likely going to cheer for the team that has ScreaM and Jamppi over some NA team.

posted about 2 years ago

He had pretty terrible first half outside of util usage. Losing so many duels to FNS lol

posted about 2 years ago

That is good though. CSGO chat >>>>>> Valorant chat not even close

Fnatic comp

peak form EMEA > NA easily
just depends on which form we will see today

posted about 2 years ago

Why do you talk alot of shit, but when you're losing and get trash talk back, you guys become so fucking soft and cry about everything. Be prepared for some shit talk like how NA people does even if they're losing, mental not strong, skill issue probably.

Who is Hooxi? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Hooxi thinks, I agree. If Hooxi speaks, I’m listening. If Hooxi has one fan, it is me. If he has no fans, I don’t exist.

posted about 2 years ago

How so? Individually peak form Derke is top 3 player in the world and Alfajer is strong top 10.
