Both KRU and Leviatan are better than #2 and #3 from Brazil. And likely better than #4 and #5 NA and could even take on NA #3.

I mentioned 5, but wasn't really talking about Vitality. Mainly meant other 4. Giants also has English Twitter, but don't know about KCorp, Heretics and KOI.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes they have English account, but it is not the main account. And usually main accounts are more active and get all the big announcements etc. first. Main posts.
And I'm sorry but Kiles doesn't deserve tier 1 spot unless Giants wants to keep him that is okay in my opinion. If he gets in its just bias. Fitinho has showed potential, but knowing how many free agents there will be I don't really see him landing a spot unless he stays with Giants and I think that would be okay. And for Mixwell he can only compete with Chamber and that's it even if he has had some good maps. Any team signing him makes mistake IMO outside of clout. And that leaves Koldamenta who 100% deserves spot in tier 1. And this is no hate to Spanish players, just how I feel about these individuals based on what I've seen.

Isn't it fucking crazy that 9/10 EMEA teams have been leaked so far, but not single one of them is G2. Like what the fuck. Even if you ignore all the recent drama.

Random thought: Maybe they intentionally leaked most of teams to create hype, but didn't leak G2 just so people would be confused of their status and it would create even more excitement and interest. Because so far it seems that all the leakers are confident about the others, but don't seem to have any info of G2. They get this information from somewhere right, most likely someone working for Riot? But still don't know last spots. Might just be because whole Carlos thing and that might have slowed things between Riot and G2.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm fine with 2 Spanish and 2 French orgs, but 3? I don't know about that. It shouldn't matter too much if these orgs actually get competitive international teams and don't just let mediocre players through because of their nationalities. Only Spanish player that comes to my mind worthy of tier 1 is Koldamenta. I said it. Only problem is that most of these 5 teams use Spanish or French as their language in main social medias so its going to be ass to follow it as non-French or Spanish viewer.

posted about 2 years ago

If Riot let's G2 to NA I don't know what is happening. So many orgs in NA still and G2 has been the EU org for long time. Letting them into NA wouldn't make any sense unless Riot wants to make NA the main region. Because G2 is still one of the biggest esport orgs in the world. And if they don't make any league then what the fuck happened. Whole Carlos & Tate thing wouldn't have mattered because it just happened.

posted about 2 years ago

Yes, but I doubt they would enter next year with this 5. My predictions is that they are going to replace most of it. Also its nAts we are talking about here. Even tho Cender had good season in VRLs still any team would replace him with nAts if they got the chance. Vitality clearly has the money to bid.

posted about 2 years ago

Bro there's nothing creepy about it. You can just open his stream and VODs and see everything. I'm not stalking him just pointing out that he isn't in Paris just for vacation. This is not personal. Just professional player with public information. I'm just speculating in what team he is joining. Normal in sports and esports. No harm intended.

posted about 2 years ago

Cender role wise. Cender was good Chamber player in VRLs and pretty good sentinel. But in reality any team that could get nAts would pretty much replace anyone with him. Especially if the player isn't proven in high tier 1. My prediction is that they will be keeping BONECOLD and maybe baddyG but get rid of Cender, H1ber and Natank. Natank might stay if they want to keep French representation and see potential in him. Cender was one of their stronger if not the strongest player, but again its nAts.

posted about 2 years ago

That is interesting. Also its likely that Vitality would be keeping BONECOLD even if they did other changes. Also something I noticed that both BONECOLD and baddyG tweeted their Vitality NFT(?) project profile pictures yesterday while both H1ber and Cender(their current sentinel) haven't posted anything Vitality related in a while. This could be completely unrelated and BONECOLD/baddyG seem to be more active in socials anyway and they might just be on vacation. But again small thing that could be linked.

posted about 2 years ago

Its interesting and fun. Some really obvious points but still. Back in OW days I predicted couple player signings no one else did (even the leakers) based on really small stuff I noticed on their streams and socials. He may or may not join Vitality, but I think some of these points point that Vitality might be the reason he is in Paris.

posted about 2 years ago

Its possible. But again something that I noticed:

  • nAts setup doesn't give any hints for the location. Team Liquid has their European HQ that looks nothing like the room nAts is in. And on top of that Liquid has apartment rooms for their players that are bootcamping there. But to my memory those rooms have white walls for what I've seen, but in nAts case the walls seem to be slightly greenish. That is why it looks bit like his own setup. So why would Liquid put him in another hotel room or somewhere else if they already have own apartments for the players? Unless they are full, but I doubt it. Their Valorant team isn't bootcamping atm and their CSGO team is in Malta. It could also just be the camera that makes the wall appear bit different shade of color.
  • Liquid is using Alienware monitors in their HQ and in apartment rooms I would imagine because of sponsor. But in nAts case its clear that the monitor he is using is from Zowie. You can tell by the design and greyish color. Team Vitality Valorant at least uses Zowie monitors and you can see this by inspecting the victory moment of Team Vitality vs MAD Lions French VRL finals. They are likely using Zowie XL2546 based on that. nAts also uses Zowie monitors, but again he clearly isn't home. If it was Liquid they would have likely given him Alienware monitor.
  • And again Liquid is located in Netherlands. Its fast to take a flight or a train there tho.
posted about 2 years ago

nAts is streaming right now and something I noticed:

  • He seems to be playing on new setup. Walls seem to be same color as his own setup, but did he have the time to return to home and change desk position?
  • He also has a new chair. The shape of it is different. Its also covered with a blanket meaning that they are likely trying to hide team branding. Based on the shape it seems like the chair is from Secretlab. Team Vitality is sponsored by Secretlab(like many tbf) while KCorp for example isn't. And Vitality has their own branded Secretlab chair.
  • He is also playing Frankfurt servers with <20 ping while in his actual setup he has <60 ping based on 2 games I checked on his stream.
  • He has confirmed that he is in Paris because of the IG picture.

so if he was there just for vacation, why would they have a setup ready for him? Everything points out that he is going to spend more than couple of days there. Its early, but maybe team like Vitality wanted to build a team with him being in the lead or already trialing new players. Just speculation because its interesting.

No harm intended, just speculation. Do not go and harass the player with questions or comments. That wasn't the point

It doesn't matter what they are known for in esport. Its founded by Ibai and Gerard Pique. The fact that they already have 617 000 followers on Twitter while being established in December of 2021 already shows that. Also KOI matches usually get some of the highest viewerships in tier 2 LoL and Valorant. And they are joining LEC (LoL EU tier 1) next year by merging with Rogue. Org like Guild isn't much next to them. Just fact even if its sad.

posted about 2 years ago

Because Riot wants EMEA teams to represent different countries/areas in EMEA. We already have 2 French orgs, 2 Spanish orgs, at least 1 Turkish org, Fnatic that kind of represents Nordics/UK, Liquid that is Liquid, and NaVi that represents CIS/Eastern EU I would imagine. So now only big area that doesn't have clear representators is Dach area (Germany, Switzerland, Austria). And even tho Germany might not be huge in Valorant they are still the biggest country in Europe in terms of population outside of Russia. And EMEA will also be hosted in Berlin, so adding clear German org would make sense. Especially if G2 doesn't make it for some reason.

posted about 2 years ago

I agree, but realistically Heretics, KOI, Vitality and KCorp all have way more potential or are bigger already. Many of those orgs you mentioned are relatively small compared to some of the big orgs here or lack proper fanbase. And are usually only known for like 1 game. ENCE most known from CSGO and even still they aren't that popular, especially after they went international. Heroic kind of same to my understanding. They are big in CSGO, but still far less popular than teams like Astralis. Guild isn't that known and are mainly known from Rocket League, Fortinite and Valorant if I'm not wrong. And Alliance is pretty known, but again I don't know how much of that is outside of Dota2(?).

Just looking at Twitter followers that obviously isn't everything (main Twitter accounts:
Heretics - 1 million
KOI - 617k (backed by one of the biggest Twitch streamers, hosts events etc)
Vitality - 680k (have crazy dedicated fanbase)
KCorp - 362k (backed by biggest French streamer? and also hosts events)

Heroic - 84k
Alliance - 255k
ENCE - 96k
Guild - 122k

so even based on those its clear that Heretics, KOI, Vitality and KCorp are higher on list for Riot.
And Fnatic is already representing VRL Polaris (Nordics + UK) in a way by being UK org. And the population of Scandinavia/Nordics is low and even the popularity of Valorant is relatively low. Just look at VRL Polaris viewerships compared to French or Spanish for example.

So I think its understandable and ok. Just need to hope that these orgs actually get international rosters with best possible players instead of investing too much into their represented countries and being biased by nationalities.

posted about 2 years ago

We will see. Falcons did fine in tier 2 VRLs, but giving one slot to them in 10 team league would feel like wasted spot if I'm honest.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean yeah, but if you look at any franchising league you know that there's always teams that will have way lower budget compared to others. And in Valorant I don't think Vitality will be that team. They are usually one of the highest budget teams. But I'm not sure about KCorp and how much money they are willing to spend. So in my head Vitality makes more sense unless its non-French org.

Also something that I've noticed that might be completely unrelated, but both BONECOLD and baddyG tweeted their Vitality NFT(?) profile pictures and natank being the only french tweeted that he was going to stream with eyes emoji. While there hasn't been anything from H1ber or Cender yet. And again it might be completely unrelated just that they haven't been on socials, but something I noticed. Guy like nAts would replace Cender.

posted about 2 years ago

Hmm interesting. KCorp and Vitality will be the French teams. W

We know that Vitality has money to spend. They already signed guys like BONECOLD, baddyG, bought H1ber from KOI so its clear that they are ready to invest some money in Valorant (not the most expensive players, but this was their tier 2 team and big names for that). They clearly wanted to win French VRL with these signings and did it.
Also in LoL they signed both Perkz and Alphari from NA with high buyout I would imagine. Also signed Carzzy that maybe isn't top player, but was still on EU's best team before Vitality. Again showing that they want to win and are ready to spend.
And in CSGO they obviously have guys like Zywoo who is one of the best players in the world. Also signed Zonic, Dupreeh and Magisk that again are pretty pricy. Showing that they want to win and are ready to spend.

Can't say anything about KCorp because I don't know about their teams as much or finances etc. They signed Rekkless to play for their tier 2 LoL team so I would imagine them having some money.

Those are just my thoughts, but could just be bait. And maybe as someone said he could be going to Netherlands for Liquid or who knows even if let's say some NA team decided to fly him to Paris and meet and sign contracts there while baiting everyone. Its big signing afterall.

I myself have always seen Jady as more of a flex/flash player than proper initiator like Leo or Shao. But you have a point. I just think that Jady could fit that Mistic style role. Where he is the flex player who also plays KayO, Skye, Breach etc. He is flexible, so I think it could work.

posted about 2 years ago

Jady was insane tho. His time in M3C wasn't the greatest, but everyone who follows EMEA knows that Jady was top tier player before his break. If he can get back to that form he could easily land a spot on one of the teams. I think purp0 still needs time in tier 2 for now.

posted about 2 years ago

Finland:
Derke - Chamber, duelist
Jamppi - Chamber, sentinel, flex
BONECOLD - IGL/Smokes
Iluri/h1ber - initiator/duelist, flex
hoody - flex

Iluri or H1ber depends on what the roles of rest of team will be. For example I would rather go with Jamppi Chamber and Derke Raze/Jett, so then having proper initiator in Iluri would make more sense. But if you want to play Derke Chamber then H1ber Raze would make more sense. And the key for this team is the flexibility. And because of this I think this team would have many role swaps depending on map. For example Hoody, Jamppi or even BONECOLD could pick up initiators on some maps. Jamppi and Hoody can play anything. Derke can easily switch between Chamber, Jett and Raze.

but holy we need to see Sweden vs Finland Valorant game that would be insane. Swedish team looks scary af.

posted about 2 years ago

I would maybe replace H1ber with Iluri. Iluri is proper initiator player and was also the IGL for Fokus if I'm not wrong.

posted about 2 years ago

Unlucky. Guild has so much potential, but unfortunately likely won't make it to franchising. The core of Sayf, Leo and Trexx is so fucking good. And they also have proper IGL who actually seems to be good at what he is doing. Just needed to add 5th who can carry his weight and this team could be legendary.

posted about 2 years ago

EMEA team. Hard to say which team because we don't know rosters yet. I just think EMEA teams will once again improve the quickest because of competition within the region. And this is good especially for next year when there will be many roster changes etc. You need to get good pracc going and EMEA is the best for that atm. And we could finally see super team(s) in EMEA if orgs want to spend money.

posted about 2 years ago

Guild won't make it to franchising most likely.
But my prediction and opinion:
Redgar - TL or G2, both badly need an IGL and their controller players aren't locked in (Dima, Avova) and are big enough to bid.
nAts - pretty much any team -FPX(Suygetsu), Fnatic(Alfajer). He is top top player and would be upgrade to pretty much any team. TL or G2 again comes to mind first.
And when it comes to Sheydos and Chronicle I think they could go anywhere tbh. For example Fnatic could replace Mistic or Enzo with one of them etc. And on top of that I would imagine many of these orgs like KCorp, Vitality, NaVi, KOI making changes and they could land on any of them. For example NaVi could be insane with some of the M3C guys + ssk and Cloud. And even guys like Jady could land a spot on a tier 1 team.

posted about 2 years ago

I just wonder how EMEA slots are distributed. How many Turkish teams? Will MENA get their slot? Will CIS has its own slots or will they be merged to EU slots? Knowing that Fnatic, KCORP and KOI already made it. G2 and TL are really really likely to get a spot as well unless G2 gets accepted to NA but doubt it. So that is already 5 almost 100% EU teams. If CIS has its own spots with Turkey and possible MENA then that might be all EU teams or we might get 1 more, but then who will that be. Vitality, Rogue, MAD Lions? Will teams like NaVi or/and FPX get accepted as CIS teams? So many questions, but we should get answers really soon.

Its completely different meta and time so ofc LOUD would win if you compared the teams as how they were when they won. Game evolves.

How so?
Iceland 2022 doesn't count because EMEA was same as if you only counted The Guard for NA. G2 is comparable to The Guard, while both Fnatic and FPX would have been comparable to OpTic.

EMEA was way better in Copenhagen #1, #4 finishes while Guild got to playoffs and only lost to the finalists. EMEA eliminated each other. While XSET went 0-2 and OpTic placed 3rd.

And now in Champions all EMEA teams got into playoffs while 100T didn't. XSET and Fnatic both finished at same spot. And now OpTic is in top 2 at least while FPX got 4th.

so you can't by any means say that NA had way better year when in reality both regions were pretty much equal. OpTic was the best and most consistent team out of these(don't know if FPX made it to M1), but as regions its really back and forth.

posted about 2 years ago

I think Global Esport would have won over half of the Champions teams. Especially teams who got grouped.
