honestly , why do people think BIG is gonna get a spot in franchising? they have neither a big fanbase nor a good team. its a small org. why would they get accepted over g2 and FPX?

The only reason they COULD get selected I think is because the tounaments are going to be in berlin and the team is german.

Because Riot wants EMEA teams to represent different countries/areas in EMEA. We already have 2 French orgs, 2 Spanish orgs, at least 1 Turkish org, Fnatic that kind of represents Nordics/UK, Liquid that is Liquid, and NaVi that represents CIS/Eastern EU I would imagine. So now only big area that doesn't have clear representators is Dach area (Germany, Switzerland, Austria). And even tho Germany might not be huge in Valorant they are still the biggest country in Europe in terms of population outside of Russia. And EMEA will also be hosted in Berlin, so adding clear German org would make sense. Especially if G2 doesn't make it for some reason.

Its mainly cz of the base being in Berlin. And they pretty much want a local favourite to draw the crowd. Thats all ig.
